- One of the biggest points of excitement when Mario Maker 2 came out was the ability to play online competitively against other players! Sadly, while fun could be had, the inconsistent lag and level selections made the experience rather mediocre. Is it any better in 2023? Let's find out!

This game is like a slideshow when you play it online.
i wish my online experience was as smooth as his. its so slow and laggy for me and i have good wifi
The only problem with online VS is the lag, if it wasn't for that, it would be a great time.
I wanna know how two people got to the end of that clown car level. It takes a lot of skill to hop on someone else the entire time on a clown car, unless the other person found another clown car or a respawn.

Nevermind. They had two seperate clown cars. So much chaos in Multiplayer and I didn't even notice.

I've been going through your old videos from oldest to newest that I never saw before, and I legitimately just saw your first video of Mario Maker 2 yesterday where you were testing the multiplayer!
Edit: While I enjoyed watching the video, I can't help but notice the huge change in quality of watching that video made for youtube vs this video that was a twitch recording.
I would watch a series of DGR attempting to get to pink S+ sooo much haha. Dave is funny when he gets toxic.
These are times when I realise DGR is actually really good at the game...

Id say wait, it'll save your sanity. Besides it costs $80 to get the full package and Nintendo hasn't fixed their online for years.
I havent touched MM2 since 2021, I was 100 points from getting Pink S+ but stupid algorithm spams the same dogass lvls with terrible platforming design and even tho I beat some they give you little to no points but take an arm and a leg if you lose and not reach the flagpost in which not all worlds have. I lost alot of sleepnights grinding only to get so far and for what a silly color?
DGR is my only escape to Mario Maker after Dashie quited. Mario Maker 1 was honestly better than 2 disregarding 3D world (which is slowpace) and Link Upgrade

DGR you should check out the game Super Mario Maker World Engine.
I was curious just how many frames Dave won by at 10:12 so I decided to check. 4 frames. There was only 4 frames between when he grabbed the flagpole and Luigi did.
If Luigi hadn’t twirled or thrown the spring, he would’ve won.
Honestly, I think whoever was controlling Luigi was trying to decide if they should wait on everyone else, but Dave forced the issue.

Hey! I remember playing VS with ya at 0:47 in April. I just got the S+ rank and the superb suit for my Mii a few weeks ago.
And yeah.. I agree that VS Mode in Super Mario Maker 2 isn’t very fun, especially with the rank system. The second I got S+ and unlocked the superb suit, I quit playing the main VS Mode campaign. It’s too frustrating to play with the rank system.
I still play VS Mode with friends on occasion since there’s no rank system to worry about. You don’t happen to occasionally stream Mario Maker 2 VS Mode friendlies with viewers like Cave Miner does, right?

I don't understand a multiplayer mode where is mandatoire every level to be a single player level...i don't understand how a simple game as MM2 doesn't have a smooth online gameplay...i love Nintendo games, but it's sad...i only imagine that it could have been a much awesome experience if Nintendo wasn't that bad...
