What if, by the year 2080, we have a moon base and a Mars colony but Earth is still burdened by overpopulation, pollution, poverty, greed? Plausible, right?
What if aliens send a fleet of lightships to clip our wings, grounding us ‘til we’re mature enough to explore without leaving a trail of garbage and suffering in our wake?
What if, subsequent to this alien attack, Earth is thrust into a new Dark Age (no electricity, no high technology) but with a rising mutant birth rate and the rising fascist Church-State of Florida?
