Just to make the build cheaper which my dad eyes didn't see early in the morning when making this, you can buy the mosin receiver from Artisan too and its a lot cheaper. Here is the list to build this after checking again for you with the price 🙂

If you buy the mosin base (the one with no parts on it) and then buy the stuff to build this (including the silencer) it is cheaper then buying the built one and selling the stuff back
I was looking for ages to see if there was one which was like the shell but couldn’t see it, dad eyes playing up hehe. I chose this one as it had the silencer with it, the longer barrel and also if people as said during the gameplay can just use the base mosin without doing any modding and it will be fine with the ammo
For the CQ detach the upper with the barrel and it sells pretty much for the same and take less room.
You can farm 7N1 rounds at Midnight Sapphire, the Sniper AIs have 40 of it on them.
I just run a base mosin w/ iron sights everywhere when I am questing.
Ahh, I miss the gold old days of rarkov when you can 1 shot with the Mosin. Best wipe.

thats realistic. sniper scopes (parallax) does that in real life if you dont know how to look though the sight straight (this is for all things even telescopes and glasses, its why EOTEC makes such good sights do to the fact its a HOLO so it has almost no parallax do to the fact if you look down a sight in real life of one you can see the read dot over the metal frame if your other eye is still open without it having ANY parallax and in some cases passed the entire metal frame
Ah good to know, I think it’s also because the scope is further along the sniper

@@SiNisterFPS You can actually place the scope a little further back by changing it to another rail point to get rid of the parallax quite a bit. There's another rail that's a bit longer that helps.

scope shadow is more common terminology. while it has to do with the parallax from the front of the optic to the rear, just calling it parallax doesn't really make sense.
The scope edges blacking out is because of weapon sway and the mount being so far forward. That's why holding breath clears it up, he holds it steady.
many people don't know this and its prob a glitch but for better storage management if you keep the acog 4x on the acog mount it turns it from a 2 slot to a 1.

Hi! I tried this build also, but I put a Vodoo on it... The scope picture was terrible before holding breath, but if you just press shortly the "hold breath hotkey" as you said in the video it helps a bit until you start to move the rifle. I used this build only few times. Maybe it is better in PVP with the Spectre, but I play mostly just PVE and for that purpose I found AR-15 is a better choice.
Great build! I look forward to doing it later this evening! I have died 3 or 4 times now and had the game crash for no reason before my heli came to basecamp, to return me to my loot. So frustrating.

Very nice build. I found a VUDU 3.5-18X 50 FFP Rifle Scope and used an O-ring 34MM to attach it to the rail, been killing (scavs) unsure what to call em, up to 200m very comfortably without alerting any of them.

I just buy the basic mosin with PU scope and take it to Fort Narith. Then find the nearest Crimson Shield PMC and trade him one 7.62x54R LPS for a whole kit. They even fill the bag for me sometimes. Nice people!

Hy! Did try out all the Scopes all the same on it dont know why but well im on the M700 its more stable but u need M61 or the M80 not realy cutting it!
A bug I've had is if you go into coma, and click the button to end the coma and die, I think that counts as 2 deaths. Because everytime I've died this way and returned to my body it was gone. So maybe just letting yourself die after time fixes it. Or when you go into coma and chose to respawn your body just dissapears. Idk, but when I get on the game next I'll send in a bug report.
I have had this bug too, if you have a team mate nearby, ask them if they can see your body and if they can pick your gear up and drop it next to your body. I have seen the bug where your body disappears for you, but not your team mate.
The scopes are based on real scopes. In real life you would have to stop and focus to aim whilst in 4x. My first time looking down a scope on a snipers rifle was weird as it wasn't like in games. It was blurry when looking at certain angles and you had to tilt your head in a certain way to see a clear picture (it was still blurry around the edges). This game does scopes almost perfect as the player doesn't shove his eye against it either like in other games. Putting your eye against a scope and shooting will give you a big black eye (my exes farther did this when he was younger).
The scope is too far forward. I know you can’t adjust it but would be a neat feature
I wish this was on console. Looks like a nice game. A bit more slow-paced which i like.

I really enjoy playing the mosin sniper build but it has one major problem: If you don't one-shot an AI, you MUST give up and reposition immediately. Because a second or third shot in the same breath will NEVER finish them. I'm fairly certain it's a bug. An M4 kitted for sniping doesn't have this problem, not sure about the M700.
do m700 one shot build next please and try testing it on T3 enemies on airfield in Fort Narith, ty
We be testing the mosin also here too and then yes once I unlock banshee, I will be testing m700 and ammo :-)

@MrWEST1 against higher tier enemies you have to head shot them for the one shot, so this is where snipes become less useful and mk18 will be better etc

Making sure youre on the correct server is a big thing as well... i was rubber banding alot but once i moved to the correct server for my location it worked alot better
Yeah to add about correct server, even though I am in UK, I have been playing in US east as it feels more stable
I'm on 5800x3d and 3080 on 1440p and perf was terrible... Had to refund... Any other games I play including tarkov or AAA games are smooth as butter
My body phases through the ground and i have to find the right angle to be able to loot my body but looks like my body is invisible lol

I was using this build, it's good, but snipers only really become viable or useful with 6x and up scopes
Yeah If you are going for full practicality then yes I would most prob say an M4 or MK are better since you can 1 tap in the head with them and faster follow up. Its more if you just want to mix it up and for people who like agressive sniping, it works really well for low to mid tier POIs
Putting the gun in the backpack slot to modify it without worrying about how it resizes in the inventory is a 200+ IQ move. Thank you for that! So much easier!

It's just added realism. Some scopes have better eye relief than others
Its not that because the same scope doesn't do that on say the M4, its because the mount isn't at the back end of the gun and is more in the middle which I think is causing it. I was using the M700 last night with the same scopes and they didn't really do that
@SiNisterFPS yes... that's eye relief. If the eye relief of an optic is 3 inches... than your eye is best placed within that 3 inch window for best picture. So mounting the optic further up is causing that dark ring because your not in that threshold of eye relief 👍

@SiNister PLEASE, for two weeks now I have been trying to FIND and JOIN your Discord!! No matter WHAT I do I cannot find or join it? Do you have a Discord?? Also do you still use the FPS after your name. Recently I see sometimes you don't use it.
I am also wondering if you quit live streaming, because I have not seen it for at least the last 4-5 days. I'm in the states, West Coast so I know you are about 12 hours ahead of me so I have always had a problem knowing when you are on.

Been streaming everyday a part from one of the days which was with family. You can see past live streams by clicking on my channel and looking at the tabs at the top and select Live. Best thing to do would be to bookmark my channel and then can see when I’m streaming when you are on.
I normally stream between 8pm to 12am UK time. So google the conversion for your time zone to find out what time that is for you :-)

How do you unlock the mosin scope?
If you can't see it under Artisan level 1, then I would presume its level 2 BUT I swear I bought a mosin at level 1 when I was trying it out before with the lower tier ammo

Yep but ACOG is level 1 which is what I use. Also everyone should be level 2 Gunny if they have level 2 Artisan etc

Not sure about the ammo types for this then.
The one I suggest from level 2 will one shot body and head for all low tier to mid tier POIs. High tier you need to head shot to 1 shot to be more consistent though I have also 1 shot body high tier now and again too but its far far less consistent and better to go for head shots
@@SiNisterFPS Im still kinda in the lowbie areas i guess with level 1 mosin and pu scope, but ive had good luck just headshotting everything.
Yeah this build is more a mid tier build, for the starting area even just picking up the AKs and using them with the ammo you find should be fine to get through some of the quests you need to do over there :-)
@@SiNisterFPS I unlocked the artisan so far so i figured mosin is pretty good since i can get ammo anytime i need it, and i got some akm stuff but sniping just downs npcs faster.
Doesnt work on the chad AI at fort narith, midnight, blue lagoon, or tiger bay tho. Some take 2-4 headshots with 7n1. The chad AI will strafe left and right super fast while youre aiming too. RUN when you see that guy lol.
Will this later as going to those parts most probably but this is why I said more mid game as those places are more your high tier places and I think the m700 will be the one for that
@@SiNisterFPS m700 is about the same on the chad AI's. Ive tried them all. Currently lvl 31.
Best bet is to mag dump there heads before they end you. lol gj brother! Fun game.

Tweak your settings. I'm running 100-120fps with a 3080ti.
@@SG-us4gz I have a 3060 and get 40-50fps and when I try to use FSR the game looks absolutely horrible but I get 60+ fps

So my spectre and acog has zero parallax to it. Anyone else or am I just lucky?
What FOV do you run? I am guess you using the exact build as the scopes only do it with the way the tri rail is set further forward. For example if you use it on a M700, it doesn't do that

The issue for me here is that setup would not work in real life, due to eye relief on ACOG. Second thing is that mosin would work w/o magazin, where in this game it would not.

@@tripshift4914 yep, if it was in a place where loot was a lot more lucrative, it would be completely pointless but while it’s in very early access and loot doesn’t give too much money, so if I have 4 slots then it’s cool to swap too
Nah dude, the Mosin is cooked. Even with 730 barrel, the MOA is 1.5 and it misses shots beyond 200m that it should not. Plus the trirail is too far forwards, meaning you can't use any of the good scopes because the eyebox is fucked. You can't go past 4x because you can't see anything and you can't look around without holding breath. Also 7N1 is only good for weak enemies, Midnight or Fort shrug it off. Not surprised you make it seem like it works in Sawmill since those guys only wear Commander.
M700 has none of those problems (eyebox, mostly), but the ammo is harder to come by. M80 is too weak in general and at level 27 I can't buy M80A1 because I only recently unlocked Banshee and still am levelling him up.
Or just use M4 with a Razor and don't die because you missed a shot at 250m with a Mosin and village AI hip fired you while doing a 180.
This video is to mix it up to not only just use the M4 haha, If you want to use the best then the M4/MK18 is the best for everything at the moment due to the fact snipers not that great at range with the BV and also the fact the game doesn't render past 400 meters etc

I do say this is for mid tier, you are naming a high tier zone, of course a sniper from level 2 vendor costing less than 2k isn’t going to one shot body them. It does still one shot headshot them though as we done that on stream tonight

lol seen a few of these comments, I think you guys are ignoring what I say in the video. I do say this is a mid tier sniper. It 1 shots body everywhere except the bigger airfield, midnight and tiger which are all high tier places. I think it would not be balanced if a sniper which costs less than 2k can one shot every bot in the game 🤣

@@codexnecrogeddon Yeah I used to Run DMZ it was a game mode for intelligent people with critical thinking skills but not anymore since the game has been inundated with weak ass hackers, with their Cronus, Aimbot, Modified controllers etc you name it and these weak ass players have it so there's no more integrity in the game just a bunch of weak-minded buffoons exploiting the system. I used to enjoy the challenge of accomplishing the DMZ emissions but those days are over now, I'd rather run Plunder.
