I found that when I use Kojic acid soap (bought at Amazon), it lightened my skin quite a bit. And my skin overall became much better. I put the soap on me, leave it for 3 minutes, and then wash it off. Also, Etsy has lovely creams made with Kojic acid, Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin, etc. They are made & sold by some lovely black-owned small businesses. These creams are very effective. And I agree with you that one shouldn't feel less-than because of their dark complexion. But then, apart from what that person told you about how she was treated for her dark skin, I also believe - to each their own. If it makes someone happy to lighten their skin, others should not make them feel bad about it. White people tan their skins...no one makes them feel bad about it. This is one life to live...I feel everyone should have the freedom to do what they need to do to feel happy (as long as they hurt no one else).
Can u plz tell me the name of that kojic acid soap?
@@aditibiswas8669 I have used a few different ones...they all work. The most famous one (on Amazon USA site) seems to be the Kojie-san one. Just buy any Kojic acid soap, and read the reviews first because I hear that sometimes they sell fake ones. I haven't ever experienced that. But be careful when you start using it...start with leaving it on your face & body for just 1 minute and wash it off. Watch for any irritation/burning if you have sensitive skin. Kojic acid creams are great too. Moisturize your skin well because this soap is quite drying. Don't forget to use a great sunblock because as your skin becomes lighter, it will become more sensitive to sunlight.

I love what you said about Indian people needing to be more accepting of darker skin colors and not obsess about being fair. Just wish the Indian actresses who are in the public eye and who people look up to do not hide behind light makeup to appear fairer! Well my skin was fair before n then pigmentation happened.
Then gradually my skin started getting darker.
My face is actually 2 shades darker than my body skin.

Mam I have a question about sunscreen reapplication.....first time in morning sunscreen will b applied to the fresh skin.....but after that we usually put on some make ups.....when we need to reapply it after 3 hours , either we need to do the cleansing routine entirely or we can just put it on the make up.....which one should we choose?

Dr Sheth Vit C, Chemist at Vit C are good option. You can use the minimalist Alpha Arbutin. I will try and look for some by alternatives

We get up early in the morning and go for jogging at that time do we need do the AM step at that time only. If not what do we do at that time. Also if i do it at at 8 or 9 so then till evening we dont have do anything? My skin is oily i did it today first time and got patchy skin after 3 or 4 hours. Suggest something please
While jogging you can use moisture and sunscreen as you sweat and to protect from morning sun ,use sun screen, once you are back home after jog ,get fresh and do full routine and you can stay with that till evening, 9 Am - 5 pm is sun time, after that you can wash with normal water if you want to remove heavy layer makeup on skin. Hi nupin, I'm using chemist at play's vitamin c serum but i feel my chin area get pigmented, could you suggest me what to do.. Is it reacting or it's normal?
Sometimes when a vit c serum doesn’t match your skins ph it can oxidize or if you don’t use a sunscreen after vit C it can make your skin look darker.
