Kay is the only one in the media I really look at and think, she is one of us. Been that way since her good morning football days. Most media personalities either over hype the Chargers or ignore us, neither side actually follow the team and never watch their games. Whereas with Kay, I feel she has a special place in her heart for the Chargers.

I 100% agree. Don't get me wrong, there are females out there like Kay that totally belong in this business. But the sports entertainment buisness is getting ridiculous shoving all of these female analysts and broadcasters down our throats. Pushing the agenda of the WNBA at an excruciating rate. Glad I grew up watching sports when I did. Ruining it all💔
Honestly, keeping Keenan Allen on that huge contract despite being over 30 is a move the old regime would’ve done. Joe had the guts to trade one of the greatest chargers in history, got us an extra pick, and saved enough cap space to fill out the depth chart with important depth pieces like chark, dupree, bozeman, Fulton, JK, and Gus edwards. It sucks to lose Keenan, but I truly believe we are a much better team for having made that move.

Sucked to lose Allen, but that 4th pick added depth on the DL, Justin Eboigbe. I have high expectations for him. He can play all over the DL.

I remember the first few interviews with Joe… I was slightly worried he wasn’t gonna be a great media guy… which, nothing says he has to… no gm has to be a good media guy to succeed, but I just wasn’t sure I felt like he’d be a smooth talker or be able to do small talk or anything like that… cuz we had TT, and he was so awkward and never got big time interviews really outside of the Staley hire because he didn’t splash and was weird… but man… I was so wrong about Joe… seeing him here, Mcaffee, Eisen… he’s just so smooth, funny, able to tell stories and just josh it up with the interviewer… I literally could not be happier with our GM pick… not only did he crush the draft and will probably crush the in season process, but he’s just s good guy too…
