    That is an awesome fish. There is something just freakish looking about mid 50” Great Lakes or Minnesota fish. Once you see those bug eyes sticking out you know you have a giant, congrats

    I was surprised to see how deep your bucktail was going with the 6oz weight. How many feet of line and what type of line did you have out to make it go 12’ deep?

      I believe it was 20-25ft back. You can see that on the Garmin too.

      All my trolling rods have 80# FINS XS Braid. Some are moss green, some blue and rest have orange. The orange is easiest to see at night. The different colored line is really nice when we get a tangle. I know you would think a professional charter captain wouldn't get tangles but it does happen on occasion 😉

      Another factor in the depth we achieve is that rod we were showing on Livescope is a down rod and 3 -4' of the 8' Chaos trolling rod is in the water.
