When melody on right hand piano style keyboard with harmonic rhythm (rhythmic progression of bass notes and chords) on left hand button type manual simultaneously it sounds like woodwind quintet. Suction reed organ, harmonium, accordion, bandoneon and concertina contains metal reeds for each and every keys for the respective notes. So all the above mentioned musical instruments can be grouped into reed organ categories. Accordion, bandoneon and concertina are portable versions of reed-organ. Even if electronic keyboard imitate the music of reed-organ or accordion it can't beat the real accordion nor any form of reed-organ as mentioned above because it (electronic keyboard) contains electronically recorded and programmed circuit board of sound chips connected to speaker instead of metal reeds and bellows.
My guess is since the Weird Al series a lot of people want to learn accordion so they need all hands on deck to video and sell them. All the secondhand tuition books have been snapped up too.
