I have two of the exact same motor and Ive been looking for someone , something, anything in a language i can understand. Thank you! you made my day.. God bless the people of India, i just cannot understand there English. Now i can put these motors to work. Again Thank You!!
Cool video. Same motor I'm working with trying to solve a bad washer. Hope it's not the motherboard. I did see that the start capacitor would stop the motor from being able to start under a load. Did you at least try replacing the capacitor? On mine it will hum like the motor is trying to turn for a second and then it would stop. I bridged my start capacitor to kill the electricity in it and there was no arcing. So I'm thinking it was bad. I'm going to try replacing it and then run it through Diagnostics again. Wish me luck.
@@R.Akerman-oz1tf ended up finding a set of wires that came together along the under frame and were joined by a clear crimped connector. They were burned/corroded. Cleaned them up and works great.
thx for the info I have a 3 wire motor simular and wanted to repurpose for a project and you have solved my problem and prevented me from from the motor
I have a motor that looks exactly like the one you have, (I didn't check the model #). What about the cap? On mine there is a cap across the red/yellow. I assumed it would be white = neutral, then red and yellow to cap, with one of the 2 being high, and the other being low, (or maybe both together being high??? Nice to see yours fire up nicely...
I found a great document online for my washing machine. it's a service manual which includes detailed info for my motor. I suggest you try to locate something similar for yours.
Thanks for the video, I have the same motor, I can get it to spin in one direction, but when I move the power lead to the third terminal it does nothing. Your video confirmed that my motor is bad. I've been searching the Web and have found no help until now. Thanks again for posting.
I've been searching for almost the exact kind. Thank you
7 years later and you video is still helping people. Thank you!
How do you ohm out the motor windings?
what should it read when you hook a tester up to it
Thanks for posting it helped me out.

@@R.Akerman-oz1tf may have been a feed to the capacitor, I cant recall but it makes sense.

Did your motor have a speed sensor on it?
no. BAsic motor right out of the box. This matched up exactly to what I had installed.
My motor has only 5 pins, two to the tachometer, two to the coils and I assume the last one to the brush. What do I do?
Thanks man. This help alot
