- The OST of Gundam Unicorn is a personal favorite of mine and in my opinion Hiroyuki Sawano's best work. A big shout out to Un3h for again providing her skills to this track. I've always wanted to cover an Aimer song. Gundam Unicorn was one of my first anime’s ever. I watched it to see giant robots fighting and I ended up loving the plot and characters more then the fights. This show will always hold a special place in my heart, and this song just makes happy
Same. Before Unicorn I never got into Gundam, so I thought it was all "oh boy giant robots fighting", but after Unicorn + Gundam The Origin, it's now one of my all-time favorite franchises. It's weird to think how a simple toy franchise could give birth to such enduringly perpetual anti-war themes.

First of all, I stayed up doing finishing artwork - a bit tired - but this got goosebumps everywhere whenever it builded up and dropped. And the vocals, damn Un3h, that gave me the biggest goosebump. Good comination.
Have you ever thought of doing a Kung Fu Panda orchestration but your style?

Yo i remember back during a q&a livestream you did last December I asked the question “one of my favorite works of yours is “old souls and full moons” with Un3h, are you planning any colabs with her?” And you told me that there wasn’t since her schedule was so busy and she could only record when she’s home. Now just over 11 months later my wish at long last has been fulfilled, and let me say, it was well worth the wait.
A theme fit for the 'Beast of Possibility'
This gives me heavy "Last stand of the lone pilot" type vibes. Like as if against all odd you, rather you be a gundam pilot, Jesta, Stark Jegan, whatever you pilot...you choose to stand proud despite knowing you might not make it back.

I'm always impressed by how dynamic you make your orchestrations! Your instrumentation is so perfect, especially the switching between cinematic, orchestral, pop, ballad, and more ethnic styles. It is so emotionally evocative, and Un3h's voice is absolutely gorgeous!

Magnificent! So much clearer with the melody and guitar. The horn balance is also significantly better, sounds like it's played by an actual full orchestra on a stage! bravo!

Hiroyuki Sawano's best work. That means something coming from you! I remember starting to listen to the OST after having watched the anime and not being particularly impressed, but this orchestration and your endorsement make me think I should give it another listen. Stellar orchestration and vocal performance!
My personal favorite of Hiroyuki Sawano's soundtracks... probably the first season of Blue Exorcist, though Re:Creators and Aldnoah Zero are close runners up.
