    Always a pleasure watching you make non-vegan vegan soaps. Love all your soaps but your non-vegan soaps are the absolute best. They are like your luxury line. 🥰

    I feel the same way about scents in soap. I like scents, but on the lighter side. Otherwise it can be overwhelming and that really puts me off! I love simple soaps with natural ingredients the most, even though I've got nothing against fragrance & mica and all that, it's just that I prefer the natural ones. They are always the ones I reach for first. 🥰

  • @nancykelly9712
    @nancykelly9712 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'm not happy with the last set of IFRA changes. I find the usage rates for fragrance oils to be quite a bit lower and I prefer on the stronger side.
    I'd love to try a tallow soap too but my family and friends absolutely don't want any kind of "meat" in their soap.
    Your orange soap turned out lovely Holly!! 💞

    • @moriversoap
      @moriversoap  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Nancy! I have been finding that the really reduced ones are super strong. I don't know if they have been reformulated or what. The essential oil that surprised me was lemongrass! It's almost pointless to use it now.

    Holly I made my spiced orange vegan with a clear orange10x since I refused to pay BB prices. It was so good ! I was surprised due to the low amount of clove used and I colored with turmeric and made a mica line with yellow Brazilian clay. Was the first time I sold out so fast during an event. I made two more batches and will be selling this Saturday on my annual Cotton festival here in the town. Will see. This time I added a touch of cinnamon as well. Love your natural color!!!

    Thank you for another awesome video, Holly! I wanted to ask if you calculate the amount of cream using a lye calculator? I usually put 1 ounce of cream per pound of soap, and then do a water discount. I was just curious how others do it. Plus, the soap calculator I'm using doesn't have coconut cream listed. But either way, I just love a nice cream soap! And yours look so beautiful! Another great video! Have a great day, my friend!

    • @moriversoap

      I just love how thick and creamy cream is. It's how I used to make all of my soaps. You get that same milky feel to the batches without using a bunch. I will say not to use a bunch or it will overheat. My Crema y Cacao soap can be a touchy one for that reason.
