We have Clever at my school and I like it. Our students don't have the badges. They login with a username and password...but the have Clever (or Chrome) remember their password on Clever. It is super helpful once you use them regularly. As the teacher you can "bookmark" the websites on their profile.
We use Clever too - and I'm a fan of the old way. 😄 Sounds like you have it allllll together! I wondered if you used IXL. I like that program and the data tracking etc. You can have the kids take diagnostic placements on that, then they get a "plan" for skills at their ability. Between the plan and assigning skills that correlate with our whole group, I think it is a useful thing. Have a good week ahead! Smoke seems to have moved on a bit, 162 miles NE of you!
In the Northen Ireland and well all of the UK we call the number racks an abacus I can’t wait to teach but I’m unsure if I want to do primary school or high school my top 3 subjects that is thrive in are P.E RMPS which is religious moral philosophical studies and history I just have a number of operations for my health to get through first and when they are done I will hopefully have decided if I want to teach primary level or high school to be honest I do have this feeling to teach P4 maybe because this was my favourite year in all of my school years
Just a little tip, for Clever..... you can print out their clever badges and either tape it to their desks or make them hand held badges on index cards. This way they can log in quickly without having to type in their log in info. My kids use Ipads so I tape their qr codes to their desks and they just use the camera to get in.
What was the math fluency site that you recommended? We also just started using Star testing in my district and I am trying to figure out how to use that data to help my kiddos. I would love to see what you do with that data in math. Thank you for your videos!
@@jalcal2460 some kids are nervous the first days but that doesn’t usually last long! Most are excited since at my school third grade is typically the first year they can have a male teacher.

We create folder / binder covers with their QR codes and names in PPT. This is perfect and simple for them! We love CLEVER!
@@RoyalTennis0811 right now none of our logins are even in clever so it’s been more of a nuisance for me 😅

I did print and stick them in their notebooks but I still don’t like it as much as our old way 😂
@@_ThirdGradeSwag I totally understand that.
