I have seriously watched about 200 cushion videos, in an attempt to make my sister a cushion for her wheelchair. NO ONE has explained as easily as you have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm scrapping the one I have cut out in SIX pieces and starting over!

THANK YOU so much for this tutorial! I made a bunch of box cushions following your directions and they came out so nicely. Both the cutouts in the zipper corner and the box corner are confusing at first, but follow the directions exactly and it works!! I took another person's advice and did it on a scrap piece of fabric and that is when it all makes perfect sense. Keep the tutorials coming please :)

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just completed my first box cushion. It's not perfect (zipper is a wee bit wonky), but it's so much better than what we were using. I had no idea how to accomplish this, but you made it so clear with your excellent instruction - from measuring and cutting to installing the zipper, sewing up corners and even putting it onto the cushion (the second hardest part). Whew. Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with the rest of us. I enjoyed the video and learned a lot, including the difference in zippers. I never even considered the different options. You are clearly very skilled and watching your speed, vs my own, reminds me that I’ve got a lot of practice ahead of me. I’m a mid 40s man who is always trying to learn something new. I purchased my “project runway-Brother” machine a few years ago but was soon sidetracked with 3D printing as my winter project. I’m hoping that someday one of my daughters will come to me for help sewing something. By then I hope to be able to show off my superb sewing/ upholstery skills and blow their minds. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Just finished my bench and seat cushions following a diff TH-cam where u sew in the 5” border. What a pain! Sewing around the corners was so hard. Zipper went on one side and I wished it went around the corners! Placed cushion in a plastic bag to slip in otherwise it would’ve been almost impossible to insert. I wish I had seen this tutorial sooner! Live n learn. Im deleting other saved videos. This is 5 star! 👏👏👏
