- SDN's Nrithyanjali - February 2020
This performance during Maha Sivarathri at SDN’s Nrithyanjali, is a special one for me. Having met with an accident on November 26th, 2019, and fracturing my right collar bone, I had to keep my right hand immobile for almost 3 months.
In the month of February, when I still found difficulty in using my right hand to the fullest, I decided to go for a course of physiotherapy. That’s when Shobha and my students persuaded me to resort to dance, as there is no better therapy than dance. I gradually began dancing the Adavus and felt a vast difference in my body. Though I have not been performing regularly, this performance, to me, paved way to completely heal from my injury.
