DUUUUUDE😯 What Rhett did with the fuzz + octave/shimmer reverb at 26:45….. I want to be in that place. It wrapped me in a cozy embrace of starlight and far off galaxy colors ❤️❤️❤️

I watched this show live on Wednesday on my TV/theater room. Haven't been in that room for a year/that's another story. I was stunned by how good the sound is. The bass is so good. Also the single cymbal the drummer has sounded so real in my home. Think I will watch from that room for now one. Great Jam!!
I'm a huge TPS and JHS fan, and this show was a perfect example of how both of these shows can evolve, if the effort is there and the length of the show isn't too constrained. Give us some more of this!
You gotta ‘Find Your Fuzz!’ and be creative stacking your pedals to create your own sounds that ‘YOU’ like. Great show as always, missed not having your live shows over last few months, I couldn’t work out what was missing from my life recently and have just realised obviously it was The JHS Show!!
I watched this live stream probably around when it came out the first time but decided to re watch it today, and wow. This one really is one of the greatest JHS videos ever. Just that bit on Josh being a forest ranger or w.e was hilarious. What a great vid. The topic of fuzz alone makes this video a must watch
"I don't do drugs, but I feel that would have been where I would have started." -- Legit, that was an absolutely sick jam. I love jam bands such as Phish and, no exaggeration, that jam was right up there in the genre, guys. Absolutely loved it!
Have to 100% agree. I got the Bezerker pedal recently from them, and it's one of the best fuzz pedals I've ever used. It's hard not turning it on, honestly
That jam was awesome! You know which one. I can't imagine the music you guys could play just for your own pleasure away from cameras and 'work' responsibilities.
Great show!! I recently picked up a Vemuram Myriad Fuzz. It's a monster. It has silicon and Germanium transistors, and you can adjust the bias of the Germanium transistor. It's really loud but also cleans up nicely. I saw one in a picture of my friend's pedalboard and he swore by it. I do too.
Fuzz!!! Ultimate texture machines. The interaction between the controls of the guitar, the controls of the pedals, and how they stack make them almost synth like…but MUCH cooler! 😎
I love hearing the side of your knowledge on forestry and the FFA. I was also in FFA for Botany and Agriculture. Laughed my ass off when you talked about Poke salad.
Fuzz is the ongoing-serendipity of _a broken part of a thing becoming a new thing_ - a thing that through a purposeful inversion transforms into a creative act that "works" to help heal and/or inspire the spirit.
I actually rolled back to hear the part " ... and if you can't afford that, then why are you playing guitar" again. Laughed so hard. Thank you for that.
I agree with Rhett here. Fuzz is king for me, compared to overdrive. It can be splatty, it can be woofy, it can Doom, it can have crunch or just be a boost like Rhett showed. There's a vast amount of flavours to choose from. I left a similar comment on a Living Room Gear Demos vid (he needs to come on the show, too): Overdrive is kind of like a mild curry. It's okay, but not entirely memorable. Fuzz however, is a beautiful super spicy Green Thai curry, made by an old lady in downtown Bangkok and it rips you face off, but once you got the taste, you keep coming back for more.
I didn't understand the value of fuzz until I accidentally bought one. The Attack/Decay pedal that I bought has a fuzz circuit in it, and my eyes were opened! But hearing other people making bee buzzing and farting sounds on TH-cam made me think I would not like or need fuzz in my life, but then used musically, it sounds great and it is in a lot of awesome songs, and also when you play it yourself, it is a lot of fun.
Thanks for this great show! I really enjoyed the Slide Jam. I had to just laugh because it was great to see you having fun. Thanks for that! Need to buy a second Fuzz now don't find my tone on the Behringer SF300
