      You should rent a house or duplex instead. For less than what you are used to you can get a decent duplex

    My husband works at Saint Francis 😁 He use to be the assistant manager at Saint Francis South in Broken Arrow. Both of our girls were born at SF. If you go on 81st and turn right, the neighborhoods around Toledo Ave are nice.

    Would like to see homes from 21st and Harvard to Utica Square to Lewis and back to Lewis and 21st. Also interested in the Monica Casino ,Cascia Hall, and Holland Hall areas. I am in Midland, Tx area now for 30 years and born and raised in Tulsa for my first 48 years. Would like to move home, but most of my family migrated to Midland due to the oil and gas industry. My BS and MS degrees are from Northeastern State with post grad at OU, Norman OK. I really enjoy your videos.

    H Sabrina,, I am planning to move in Tulsa and hopefully get the job in St. Francis Hospital, what's the best location near the hospital that has affordable apartments to rent, also safe while trying to fit in the new community.

    The Promenade is closed? Wow l met my wife in tulsa. She lived near downtown by the river. When i would come up sometimes we'd go there to see movies too bad uts closed. What about Piccadilly , the Green Onion, and Weber's are they still there? You mentioned Buckees I believe they are looking for a spot to build at around okc.

    • @livingintulsaoklahoma
      @livingintulsaoklahoma  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I loved the Green Onion , we would go to brunch there often, but it’s no longer here. Webers is still here. I don’t believe Piccadillys is here anymore. Yes, promenade mall closed, but now the Dillard’s Outlet is there, Genesis Health Club, and an indoor storage facility.

      @livingintulsaoklahoma thanks I live near okc and don't get up there as much as we like. There is a BBQ joint on SW BLVD near 21st and the interstate can't think of the name but it was good. It wasn't Elmer's though. Next time we're up going back to the Gathering Place and the casino on Riverside dr near 81st I believe.

      I see Oklahomans complain about homelessness in T-Town and OKC. It's gotten worse. However,it's not even close to California and other cities.

    Funny but there's a guy by the name of nic Johnson that goes around the country doing stuff like this and has done tulsa. The problem is he seems to only look for negative things no matter where he is. There is a couple that is from Florida that does it to they're worse 95% of their narrative is negative always turning their nose up saying things like who'd want to live here its this or that. I want to thank you for yours because you showed places people would want to know about and see and were informative. Good job. More importantly you show except for terrain its pretty much the same as any other city in the country.

      @livingintulsaoklahoma tulsa is fine . I've been to a few other cities as well as talked to people from other states. What I've figured out is every place is basically the same accept for location or size. Problem is people like to put down another place to feel like theirs is better not understanding beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. As far as liking where you live no one is responsible for making you happy but you. You can be happy anywhere if you put in the effort to be that way.

    I left Tulsa because no matter what you're showing on this video, there are still problems with racial/age job discrimination. Other problems include horrible roads, a crazy governor who doesn't care about public education, women's health, lower pay scales, etc. Yeah... my advice is to move to northern states. At least they have unions to protect workers.

    @ 22 minutes, I was very much enjoying the memories of the 11 years that I lived in Tulsa ( 87-98 ). It's wonderful. THANK the Lord God of Israel, who raised Jesus Christ our Lord from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures: I Cor. 15:1-58; Phil. 3:1-21 / King James Bible ONLY! ...He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. Selah.
    Ezekiel 2:1-3:27; 7:1-27; 13:1-23; 14:1-23; 18:1-32; 20:1-22:31; and 33:1-33; ...Matthew 24:1-25:36; ...Zephaniah 1:1-3:20; and Malachi 1:1-4:6 ...Daniel 1:1-12:13 and Revelation 1:1-22:21 ...for details. Amen.
