He's damn right. He is a bad guy because of sadism. Having no sense of what your violence does to others is tragic. Fellow actors have indeed covered excellently for his mistakes. Their second degree sadism is a good example of just how much social error code has crept into recent generation actors. Lonely happy sadism does not make you a Siddhar. Bala's consolation is his marriage. This man is an artistic genius that is asking to be beaten personally by an MGR. Tragically he was an infant when MGR was in his last years. Where is MGR's character & where is Bala. Surely MGR would not have wanted Tamil cinema to evolve into where it is today. Bala is a sign of that. If Bala had been a Peer of MGR's in the 1960s: 1. MGR would have personally beaten him on location & on the sets. Beaten him every evening till he regained his humanity. 2. MGR would have forced him to make a comedy movie with people wearing bright, good clothes. Like Kovil Thiruvizha. 3. MGR would have packed him into Gurusamy Nambiar's annual Sabari Yatra & there Gurusamy would have straightened him out of his "bad habits". Comrade Bala! Sangeetha was good in this interview - she & Laila & other ladies that appeared in his films ALL.need to be appreciated for their personal toughness & discipline. 🙏🙏🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
