Really? I would say that in 2023 for farmers to farm in such a regenerative way, not a single tree or ecosystem as for as the eye can see is not farming it's destroying the earth. Where's the nature, wildlife & insects? It's an absolute disgrace that these farmers have not reformed. He doesn't deserve to farm
Well we can’t farm in the middle of trees. There’s plenty of trees and wildlife around. Just because it’s wide open doesn’t mean the ecosystem is destroyed. If we didnt spray for insects, we would have nothing. Good luck avoiding farmers with your next meal. Thanks for watching.
Did you ever thought of planting a cover crop like clover in between your rows, will provide nitrogen, block weeds and provide a good covering for the melons to lay on.
I have heard that Imidacloprid is harmful to Bees? I was a greenhouse grower and used many forms of Imidacloprid and was cautious in using it when Bees were present.
Your farms are very impressive. Clean, organized and obviously you are a great grower. Have a prosperous season!

What variety of pickling cucumbers do you grow?
SuperMax
Is there a way to do this (at scale) with less monoculturing, less poisons, less chemical fertilizer, and less plastic?
No, not really. Thanks for watching.

Yes it can be. We use it mostly early season before there are flowers or early in the day before flowers are open. Thanks for watching.
