I am Jube FANATIC and my father is one of the ORIGINAL Keynotes...and hey everyone cant pay TRIBUTE to the originators, but THIS is the BEST reproduction of this song I have ever heard. As a matter of fact NO ONE (to my knowledge) has ever tried to replicate it...There are some groups that cant be replicated and executed WELL at the same time!!!! The Jubes and The Mighty Clouds of Joy just to name a few...But KUDOS and HATS OFF to Pastor Shawn Jones...GREAT JOB!!!!
the guy bass is an excellent bass player. now I grew up listening to the jubes because my dad and them we're so close. now uncle Mike is a straight pocket player and a lot of newer players are not. but he does a great job live. this is the next best thing to seeing my uncles sing this live

Right, he isn't playing the exact baseline, but he is following along that you could recognize the song. Just like the Brooklyn all stars intro to banks of Jordan. The way it is recorded when my dad played for them, the guy that plays for them now will never be exact, but people do recognize the song when they do hear it
Tonya Willis As a musician my feelings are sometimes it's ok to change a certain sound in a song however some songs don't need change cause you can take away the sweet and the soul sound that make that song what it is. That's why i made the comment. Didn't mean no harm some of us musicians are meticulous 😁
