It’s nice to see that Mukoda and Fel’s relationship is developing better. You can tell in the beginning that Fel doesn’t really respect Mukoda more as a chef, and Mukoda has a lot of frustration with the glutton Fenrir, but they’re getting used to each other better and it’s nice to see that as time goes on!
Also Sui had the most simplistic yet cutest take as a new addition to the team. Her appearance in the team also cast a new spin in the way their team and characters develop.

Everyday life in another world certainly takes some getting used to for each of us, but I like the story and how it progresses. I also like that they implemented elements from other stories, including gaming. So things like the Adventurers Guild, Merchants Guild and so on. And then we have Tsuyoshi Mukohda, a normal guy who runs things in his own way. And THAT is exactly what I like so much about this series and before I forget: his cooking is pretty good too, as he learned a lot from videos like "the wandering chef". And then we have Fel, our furry glutton, who can never get enough of Mukohda's cooked meat dishes. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we're all excited and can't wait for season 2, right?
I’m surprised there isn’t a game based of a premise like this. Sure, there are farming and cooking sims with some rpg elements. But a game with a tone or plot akin to this anime would be great I think.
He doesn't really used the gold to buy anything but snacks and grocery in the online shop. Even the side hustle of selling soap is not making much a dent in his gold. Plus while it's not mentioned in the anime, in the novel the fact that other world goods gives buffs means he decided to source 90% of meal ingredients from local markets and only use other world seasonings and the occasionally treats of drinks and desserts to the online store. Even later when all those high level monster kills add up to even more ridiculous amounts of money he starts donating gold to charity. Namely orphanages of the goddesses churches in every place he visits. Also he gets used to spending money for comforts and stops staying in inns and starts renting whole mansions for the bathroom and room for all his familiars. In the end I'd say the majority of the gold he earns stays in circulation in that worlds economy.
Believe it or not - that anime pushed me into trying to cook outside my comfort zone and experiments are alredy bringing results No SS rank familiar as of now tho 😔

They didn't really say how much the salt costs besides "a couple copper" but if we assume that means 10 he can still sell it for 1000x the price and has an unlimited stock... Just selling earthly goods would far outweigh any money he could earn by fighting monsters right off the bat, the biggest prize he got from hunting was 5000 coins so all he would have to do is sell 5 gold worth of salt to make the same amount. You'd have to factor in supply and demand though, nobody is going to want that much salt all at once but he has an entire online store with virtually unlimited goods on it with similar markup prices like the shampoo and conditioner for example. He could just start his own shop, order one of everything online, then hire other merchants to work for him sorting through the warehouse of unique goods he now has and helping him find whatever is the most profitable and fastest selling goods then sell that stuff worldwide and he'd be the richest person on the planet. Even if he's not in it for the money he'd still vastly improve the lives of everyone in that world with them all having access to an unlimited supply of high quality modern goods and he'd definitely be doing far more good in the world than just wandering around slaying some monsters here and there once in a while. Slime training would also be a good next step, feed an army of slimes those glowing mushrooms he found so he can mass produce the god tier quality healing potions and he'd be saving far more than just that single village he's been protecting from the once in a lifetime wyvern attack that he caused by wiping out the bulls that served as their food supply to begin with... He's honestly using his powers so inefficiently and he should be handing off the cooking job to professional cooks in that world instead so it'd free up an invaluable amount of time he could use producing more goods for everyone.
