- A walk through the campuses of University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho.
UHAS is the first public university to be established in the Volta Region of Ghana and is so far the only state university wholly dedicated to the training of healthcare professionals in Ghana.
The University currently runs eighteen (18) undergraduate programmes in six (6) schools and one (1) institute, namely;
» School of Allied Health Sciences
» School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences
» School of Medicine
» School of Nursing and Midwifery
» School of Public Health
» School of Pharmacy
» Institute of Health Research.
Others yet to be established are School of Sports and Exercise Medicine, School of Dentistry, Institute of Medical Education and Institute of Traditional and Alternate Medicine.

This school will become the most nicest university campus in Ghana
Infact i like the school and i know surely i will come there..
Wow! This is impressive! Comparing this school to some top schools in the U.S., it’s by no means that the infrastructure is international standard. Kudos to the government of Ghana and the Chinese government for erecting such an amazing structure and facilities to enhance Ghana’s healthcare system with the production of elite nurses, physicians, and medical research teams.

I think you will do 4 years since you did certificate ... If it were to be diploma, you could have either done either 2 year top up or the 4 year regular

General art student can apply but with regards to admission, the program you will choose will reflect on the grade you have . Cos most programs doesn't accept big grades like 20 so if you are applying , check their grading point for each program they offer before you make ya decision

This is a health school so it entails all the branches of health being it medicine, pharmacy, lab technicians, orthopedics, physiotherapist, nursing , midwifery, dietitians, speech and languages, imaging, radiologist's, sports medicine, all public health programmes, etc.

It's located at the Volta region of Ghana with two prestigious campuses which is Ho as the main campus with three sub campuses( the sokode main campus, north campus and south campus all in Ho)

Ho.poly is a curricular system of an institution where it's mostly about vocations whiles UHAS is mainly about health and Allied Sciences... They are broadly different from eachother thereby can never be any comparison whatsoever between the two 🤗

You are not intelligent bro. The university lack maintenance culture and that's not the fault of NDC or NPP.. There is a board and stakeholders which include the paramount chief so if the watch whilst the university spoil then you can't blame the government but the school board

UHAS is now globally recognized than ucc
@@luckyawadzi3337 how many people know UHAS even in Ghana. Comparing this shs school to a whole UCC? Are you joking? The campus of Mfantsipim is even bigger and beautiful than UHAS.
The earlier you get to know that UHAS is a specialized university the better for you. They do not read any arts programmes there
UCC is a curricular system whiles UHAS is a specialized system which deals in health and Allied Sciences so these two are totally different from eachother . You can't do any other course such as arts, law, etc in UHAS apart from Health and Allied Sciences courses .
