  • In this video, we continue to write 50 characters to get familiar with how characters are written and structured. My goal is to help you develop the ability to practice and learn Chinese characters more efficiently by showing you stroke patterns and similarities among characters.

I’ve been learning for 2 months now, I’m still working in my foundation. I’ve mastered the pinyin, and I’ve been reading books for a month. So I’m pretty confident in my pronunciation. I live with a Chinese couple that helps me a lot. I’m now starting to dwindle into the grammar and learning the basic words that form basic sentences, conjugations, ect. I was wondering how I should incorporate learning characters into this, or should I wait? Some characters I can already recognize (Ex. 个 and 人 )because I’ve been reading poems of tang dynasty and children’s books that include both pinyin and characters with the Chinese couple that helps me learn Chinese. But when should I start learning how to write and recognize more characters? Now? Or after I’m conversational level? I hope I typed this in a way that can make you understand my questions…😅
