You crack me up because you make it all seem so simple and do-able. Even for someone like myself who isn’t that comfortable with power tools. This is brilliant!
The self watering red wood planters are gorgeous! Loved hearing your Daughter’s voice as well. Maybe they can help with some more videos this summer. Seeing the kids involved (decorating, etc.) is very inspiring.
Cecile. There will be more kids doing cool stuff. I plan on teaching a handful of kids some useful skills this summer like gardening, cooking, animal husbandry, hatching quail eggs, breeding tilapia and crawfish, building skills (including the use of power tools to build their own garden), and service to the community. An unofficial “healthy sustainable living summer camp”
That sounds so exciting! Watching you do stuff has been such an inspiration. I've been emboldened to do more transplanting, working in organic matter, screen my compost when it is mostly done, etc. Especially seeing that everything wasn't perfect in the school garden and that you've had plants die too encourages me to just up and try stuff. I really look forward to seeing you, the kids and your creativity!

Cecile Thanks! Very easy to do once you try. I have a simple tools tutorial video coming out soon. Stay tuned😊
