That's pretty good! Figuring out songs by ear really improves your musical hearing and overall skills as a musician so I would definitely recommend you keep doing that :)

@NegaPlayer45 Glad you like my tone :) I record my bass directly with my mixing board without any eternal effects or amps. Instead of a 'real' amp I use an amp simulator called POD Farm to create all the tones. Oh and for a good bass tone, fresh and clean strings really help.

Usually I write down the tabs prior to recording but if I find an easier fingering or better sounding way to play it, I play it differently and it could be I forgot to change the tab. @musicfrommarco It's kind of a filter effect from Line 6 that they call 'Clean Sweep'. It pretty much works the same as an auto-wah, but with a different filter.
The bad part is at 3:43 and man keep doing what your doing it is so amazing. If you ever do a request I would love to hear Dragon Roost Island from Wind Waker, but any cover you do is stellar.

If I haven't played a certain game it's usually less fun for me to play the sound track on guitar and it's also a lot harder to translate the feeling properly. The only game I have made a cover of that I've never actually played was Dr. Mario. For some reason I just really liked that tune and thought it would work out great on guitar.
@luitenant22 It´s less common than four strings, but not that unusual. There are also six-stringed basses. On a 5-stringed bass, you add either a low B-string or a high C-string to the regular E, A, D and G-strings. On a 6-stringed you add both.

@TheGuitarDude1231 To be honest I'm not really familiar with the ShowMaster but it looks like a pretty nice guitar and I actually have some great experiences with Squier guitars, especially the higher end models. It all depends on what styles you're planning to use it for though.
