What's a D-Ring with MBL 36T?
A D-Ring contains 2 parts, a cap and a ring. Combined you get a D-ring. MBL stands for minimum breaking load. The minimum breaking load describes the minimum force under straight pull the d-ring can be exposed to before there arises a risk of breaking and the number afterwards, in this case 36 Ton, describe the D-Rings limit.

What's a D-Ring used for?
The D-Ring is used as a lashing point on deck. It will be welded on the ships deck by a certified welder. When the D-Ring are welded firmly, 3 different types of mounting equipment is ready to be mounted in it. One method is with a chain.. Another method is with a wire-rope. The last method is with a webbing lashing.

Søren Parder started as a hobby business, with selling lifting gear and webbing lashing gear to hauliers at the port of Fredericia.
ScanNautic is today family owned business and it has roots back to 1989. To make a long story short, then the company has meanwhile been in Swedish hands, but in 2019 Sørens and his wife bought the company back, and their son Claus bought himself into the company shortly after as part of a smooth generational change.
