I personally love snake motif jewelry because my last name is Cobra which one of four portugese words for snake. My husband actually purchased me the Serpenti viper bracelet shown at 1:11 behind the glass, with the diamonds and rubellite on the head for Christmas. I don’t mind snakes in particular but still wouldn’t wear the snake bracelets as they are a little more bold than I prefer. Still beautifully made, but a bit conspicuous I think.

The snake bracelet is copied from the Greeks and the Romans. That bracelet is centuries old. And it's an aspid ( Vipera aspis)
