First the Bears got 2.3 yards on 28 carriers which is a lot of carries. Also, the Colts R defense usually isn't as bad as it was the first 2 games....but mainly Chicago's offensive line sucks too. Running was not working for the Bears. Also these guys are way too optimistic, both QB's looked like crap.
But does it Matter? Caleb completed 63% of those passes and had 363 Yards. And the Colts were putting 9-10 guys in the box every play, so the smart thing to do is PASS, if you believe in your QB. Unfortunately it didnt work, but the Plan wasnt wrong IMO

Johnson is slow as a RB. He shouldn't be the #1 RB. His yards after contact is terrible. He averaged 4 yards per carry. Every RB on the Bears in preseason outperformed Johnson in average yards per carry. Johnson couldn't excel against practice squad players.

Caleb was still mediocre at best. Just because you found a couple good downfield attempts out of FIFTY TWO attempts? And it was never arm talent that people questioned, it was entirely decision making, getting rid of the ball, and ability to step up against top level competition. Caleb has failed at all three in each game so far.
