FINALLY get to tune into one of these while I'm in the mood, coming off a $3700 win tonight which almost wiped out my last month's losses in one fell swoop. Glad you finished on the plus side and that the H17 garbage didn't hurt you this session.
where can you even find a game that the dealer stands on soft 17, none of the local casinos offer it where I live. None of them do 6:5 Blackjacks though so at least it’s not really bad.
Won my first good session last friday, 1000€ buy in, 8000€ out!! The table max is 500€ so its whatever but the rules are good.

@@jimmypappas9780 sadly there’s few high limit rooms in AZ (not that I could afford to play at those tables anyway) and the few high limit rooms here in Arizona I’ve personally never seen an S17 game. Maybe Talking Stick has one.

I was there yesterday (9/2) for the first time. Once you're inside, you'd never think that it was a temporary structure. Lost almost $300 playing High Card Flush, but I played for a few hours, so not too bad.

I’m amazed at how fast you can count and be correct. If I was playing big money which to me is like $100 per hand my emotions would make me brain dead and I would struggle counting so quickly.

I enjoy watching you play blackjack. I don't know how to play; I would love to learn how to play it, but people yell at me because they say I take their cards, so I happily leave the table.

There’s charts that can teach you how to play. Also don’t worry about taking other people’s cards that’s a myth, statistically it makes no difference what the other players at the table do. What matters is how you play what the other players at the table do doesn’t affect the odds.
I hate that. I recently had someone hit the table because i doubled soft 19 v 6 before storming off, we both lost the hand and of course he blamed me. Pit was right at my shoulder and once he left they told me he was seconds away from an escort outside. Just remember you don't have any long term affect on the other players. If you enjoy the game don't let others bring you down.
Second piece of advice is get a basic strategy chart. Most plays are intuitive but look at hard 12 and soft 18 because everyone plays them wrong and good luck.

Players at the same table do not impact each others ODDs (chances of you winning before you play).
Yes, you can always look after the fact and see someone that 'took your winning card', but there are also an equal number of times when they take your losing card (card that would have made you lose).
Most people at a casino do not use logic and reason. I wouldn't worry about anyone elses reactions.

Maybe I could have worded it better but I was talking to someone who's interested in learning. I was trying to keep it simple. What you said was what i meant by "no long term affect". We notice the short term affects of our plays but in the long run the cards don't care and math can't be fooled.

Hi I really enjoy your BJ videos. But I do have a question about the dealer's hand. In some casinos, the dealer doesn't deal his second card before the action of players. Is there anything to change in terms of strategy? or is there any EV change in the dealer's move cuz he doesn't check if he has a Black Jack hand or not before we double 11 vs T

What's with casinos in the midwest and west pumping pop music throughout the casino. Of all the casinos I've been on the east coast: Mohegan, Foxwoods, Encore, Ballys, MGM, Rivers, Turning Stone, none have ever played any sort of music on the floor.

Ok, let’s be real. Don’t play continuous shuffler blackjack… that’s the problem here. Lol
@@MrHandPay oddly enough the odds are a little bit better just a little bit better on a continuous shuffle machine, its mathematically complicated to explain why. However because the dealer is not taking breaks to shuffle the cards every so often that translates to more hands dealt per hour and more money you can expect to lose in a given period of time. Also continuous shuffle machines take away the ability to count and personally even if I’m not counting I prefer to play a shoe game so I can have a good stopping point when a shoe is over I can get up if I’ve gone up in profit during the session.

You are playing a game with a house edge. Only fair that they incorrectly pay you more every now and then (of course never ok for them to incorrectly pay you less).
I would feel no guilt if they made mistake in my favour and I was silent about it.
