I'm lying here on my bed in my Edwardian stone town house in the UK very envious of your cottage! I am planning to sell my house in the next year or two and plan to buy my own little cottage with garden as it's my retirement plan!
Oh please don’t envy my cottage, I don’t have any, I live in a very modern one-room apartment on a loud main street 🥹 it’s just that I create setups and decorate with a lot of wooden furniture and antiques because I love it. 🤎 the Edwardian house in the UK sounds like a dream to me but your plan sounds even better 😍😍 I wish you all the happiness there!! ✨

@@thecottagelibrary I have carved small ornaments for pot-plants from sticks (and then made faces, hats etc with water colours) now I am trying to make a small bear...still it does not look much like a bear though. I am on my way home after the academic year and Home is a cottage in the forest so I am planning to practice on softer fresh wood as it is easier I think. I hope to be able to make a spoon one day too and then a guksi, that is a traditional "cup" from birch wood. I still do not have the right "knife" for spoons and guksi. Practice makes perfect and even if perfect is still very far away I so love to craft with wood. Thank you for inspiring me!

I just had some almond cardamom biscuits with lemon curd and jasmine tea, out under our apple tree, with the chickens and dogs, my flowers and gardens, it was so nice to relax with and watch your stories. I feel immersed in the world you create, it’s sweet and magical. ✨🌞✨p.s. I love the flowers, the chamomile and lavender are particular favorites of mine, but really they’re all just beautiful. I’m a professional florist so I love and appreciate flowers very much. 🪻🌷🌸

I am happy to say I am fine and the last checkup was also good! 🤎 Well, I live in a one room apartment so it is not easy, but I have dozens of wooden boxes and baskets and I clasify there the things I do not use daily or the things I do not display. But I think 60% is out there and I use it daily :)

I just had some almond cardamom biscuits with lemon curd and jasmine tea, out under our apple tree, with the chickens and dogs, my flowers and gardens, it was so nice to relax with and watch your stories. I feel immersed in the world you create, it’s sweet and magical. ✨🌞✨p.s. I love the flowers, the chamomile and lavender are particular favorites of mine, but really they’re all just beautiful. I’m a professional florist so I love and appreciate flowers very much. 🪻🌷🌸

I am happy to say I am fine and the last checkup was also good! 🤎 Well, I live in a one room apartment so it is not easy, but I have dozens of wooden boxes and baskets and I clasify there the things I do not use daily or the things I do not display. But I think 60% is out there and I use it daily :)
