God often turns the sins of others against us into something that glorifies Himself. Remember Joseph’s brothers’ sin against him. Even though it caused Joseph much suffering, God turned it into good.

Thank you for this beacon of hope when I needed it most. It's time to let faith guide me forward. After a recent health scare and my company's downsizing, fear had become my constant companion. The message about choosing faith over fear resonated powerfully. I've been so focused on what I've lost, I nearly missed the small blessings - my sister's unwavering support, unexpected kindness from neighbors. Perhaps this season isn't the end, but a new beginning? This message is a timely reminder to trust in His bigger plan. It's not easy, but it's necessary.

This was pretty good, however, I do question whether The Almighty God, who in His Word speaks against divorce, would cause or encourage a divorce. Our LORD NEVER contradicts Himself. Anyone who teaches something like this could be considered anti-Christ. Not THE anti-Christ, but an anti-Christ. Be careful what you teach.

So if a woman is being beaten within an inch of her life on a constant basis and is being emotional and mentally controlled in every way, God would prefer her dead? This kind of mentality is precisely the kind that have kept so many women under the bondage of abuse and guilt and the reason so many people in the world want nothing to do with Christianity. They see the church as hypocritical enablers, allowing abuse of all kinds but at the same time want to condemn the sinner for what he does naturally. Yes, God hates divorce but he allows many things in order to fulfill his plans. There is a difference between God's perfect will and his permissive will. God deals with imperfect humans, so his perfect will at times is not carried out in the life of a man or woman so he allows his permissive will to occur. It was never God's perfect will for Adam and Eve to sin because God hates sin and he knew that it would result in separation from Him. However, He knew they would and He allowed them to choose freely and still he had a plan to redeem humanity through his son, Jesus Christ. God can use a divorce to bring a greater good than we could imagine. I am not saying divorce is the answer to every marital issue because people need to seek the counsel of God and godly men and women to reconcile whenever possible but the reality is, sometimes it just doesn't end the way one expects. So, does that mean a person's life is over after divorce? If someone believes that then his faith wasn't in the all powerful and loving God of the Bible, his faith was in his good works and his ability to keep all the rules of Christianity perfectly. This is a person God can't use because God wants implicit trust in him. God said his thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways but that does not mean we can't think his thoughts or know his ways. Blessings

Who said the lord said no divorce? Pretty sure that was the men of the time banning women from leaving them, your comment is a terrible teaching.
And the Lord actually meant (as was shown to me from within from spirit when I was struggling to leave an extremely abusive man because of this evil interpretation/teaching
      My Lord said :
DO NOT DIVORCE/DISCONNECT YOURSELF FROM ME your true Husband in favour of connecting to man/humans.
      ...
Different interpretation makes all the difference doesn't it. Left my 'Husband immediately after that knew my Lord had been guiding me to for YEARS but because of that evil teaching of not divorcing, I was misinterpreting & getting very confused & abused because of man's teaching/self serving intentions/interpretation.
Now with My Lords guidance & Blessing I help other women see understand then LEAVE abusive controlling partners 🙏 ❤

Yes because our loving God would DEFINITELY want us to stay married to a devil forever just because we lacked intuition and discernment in the past. Sounds like YOUR false version of the Lord isn't congruent with how he's described in the Bible. Didn't God warn against being "yoked with non-believers"? You should take your own advice and be careful what you teach. If divorce is a sin in and of itself, which sin is greater in your mind? Is it greater sin to divorce a Godless witch than it is to remain married to said Godless witch until death do us part? I believe only Satan would want the latter for God's children.

@azaleaslightsage1271 I have a saying that helps me navigate through life with faith: if it sounds cruel, confusing or both, it's not from God as that contradicts Him. That's part of what faith is I think. KNOWING that you're walking with him no matter how many false or lukewarm Christians try to steer you away with bad advice. It's not that these busy body types wish ill will on us either, not most of them anyway. The more a person is entrenched in their own ego, the more they will consciously and subconsciously try to control others, Christian or not. The Christian version of this are some of the hardest people to save or even speak with because they're extremely prideful and their lives revolve around making sure other Christians follow all the rules to a T, frequently ignoring many other teachings in the Bible to win Holy brownie points. I believe every Christian is an agreement that divorce should be the last resort but as soon as someone is in a violent situation or a situation that leads them away from God, that IS the last resort. The idea that God would want us chained to a devil for our entire life for failing to see a wolf in sheep's clothing is preposterous and against everything God tells us about Himself.

    • @thomasryan1289

Everyone who responded needs to use your heads. God would never want a person to stay in an abusive marriage. Didn't think I'd have to say that, but clearly there those who are incapable of thinking before they speak. Do you think anyone would think God would want someone in a dangerous marriage to star in one? NEITHER DO I!. What I a m saying is this. The divorce rate is at about 67%, and this includes Christians. We are in a time when people [Christians included] who are just getting divorced when things get difficult, or just when they are tired of being divorced. That's what's against God's will. Again, didn't think I'd have to spell it out for people, but guess that's where we are.
