Hey Kennedy, I really enjoyed watching you create this style & for me, it was right on time. I’m loving my locs, our hair is about the same length. I don’t do any styles, it’s either loose with a headband or a ponytail. So, I have this surgical scar in the middle of my hairline, before locs you couldn’t see it, but recently I noticed just how visible it has become, which made me think that maybe my locs are becoming too heavy. 🤔 I want to keep my locs at least 5 years, (2 1/2 years in now) but I’m beginning to wonder if I should? The edges are fine, it’s only where the scar is showing. Your bang swoop will cover it & I’ll be trying it out in the morning. Thank you, I can always count on you to show great style content!!!
No problem! I think its because our scalp/parting are more pronounced with locs. They can definitely be heavier than loose natural hair though but unless its painful or puckered I wouldnt be too worried. If it gets worse though you could always split the locs around your perimeter to take weight off of your hairline although thats a bit of work 😅
@@KennedyEco I just wanted to let you know; I imitated your ponytail swoop & I think it’s going to work out. I had to play around with the placement of the bobby-pins, because my locs are a little on the thicker side, I love how it turned out…Thank you so much Kennedy for helping this old lady out!!! lol

Havent so far! I try to always sleep with a scarf on but if i dont i make sure that i brush my locs with a soft bristle brush on those days and when i wash. From what Ive seen other people say its a bit hard to get rid of lint in locs unless you dye it a darker color than the lint
