“I heard a voice” - Near Death To New Life

Mural artist Trevor Lucas suffered childhood abuse at the hands of his stepfather. Trevor turned to Christ after He helped him survive a near-death experience and overcome a drug addiction.

When he shared about his punishment, I remembered as that was how I was punished when I was young. Every Sunday after church I was required to memorize Bible verses and if not told on time, I am told to kneel on the sand. Kneel until I can memorize and say and only then lunch is served. Brought back those memories today.
