Say the word 'queue' out loud. You probably just said 'queue'. Now pronounce the letter 'q'. "ueue" is just completely silent. Unacceptable. I propose that all letters should be treated equally, vowels or consonants and therefore should instead pronounce the word queue as "qwu-eh-weh".
