Wow this was such a perfect video to come across today. I’ve recently realized that I avoid setting boundaries because I feel like it will be an uncomfortable conversation, but not communicating those things hurts the relationship more in the long run. I’m trying to focus on being honest and true to myself, both so I can be happier and also so my relationships are healthier and more authentic. Thank you for this!

I read this in passing a few days ago and had forgotten where I'd even read it, but it persisted in my mind and has urged me to reflect on what I have been searching for outside of God. Long story short, this comment really moved me - thank you🌻

This was so amazing. Prior to this podcast I was asking God to give me a message that will address my current predicament, which is setting healthy boundaries with the people closest to me. And now I understand that people have different phases of growth, and you cannot force everyone to be on your level. God is working on all of us but at different phases, accordingly. Now I feel even more confident and not judgmental of myself for my past mistakes, but rather, in a position to set healthy boundaries that will give me freedom in my relationships. Praise God! And thank you sm Emma for your ministry.

I let go of friendships because they didn’t set giving boundaries and later blamed me for accepting too much. I still pray for them weekly to say their needs and boundaries in life past our friendship but I now only befriend plp who I know can communicate their boundaries so I don’t end up with the turmoil of unhealthy plp

Could you do a podcast about being married to someone who does not believe in God?
