Clauses like this need to be illegal or heavily regulated.

That whole company should be illegal. I will definitely no longer ever use their services.

Plaintiff was only seeking $50k in damages... from a multi-billion dollar corporation. Report that!

The restaurant is specifically recommended on Disney World's official website. Disney does bear some responsibility.

They can try to side-step responsibility all they like. I see this as a CRIMINAL assault case through negligence, thereby negating any rules of arbitration. The restaurant staff was repeatedly told of her allergies and that they could be life threatening. The family was assured multiple times that the food was allergen free and perfectly safe. They killed her as sure as if they put a gun to her head.
Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan, was 42 years of age when she was killed by Disney's negligence. She probably had a good 25 to 30 years left to practice medicine. She was a Long Island family-medicine doctor who worked at NYU Langone. She probably made somewhere in the neighborhood of at least $250K a year. That comes out to $7.5 million of lost income for the family. If I were the family's lawyer, I would include all other added costs coupled with punitive damages and bring suit to a figure of $57.5 million.. Disney had the chance to settle this for a paltry $50,000 + costs. They should have eagerly cut a check. I hope a jury surpasses my award estimates.

3 barbies & a teleprompter. For God's sake.... does real journalism even exist anymore?

The plaintiff did not subscribe to Disney+. He only downloaded a 30 day trial.

It shouldn't matter if anyone did. People signed subscriptions for disney+, not a contract that legally binds them from suing if disney hurts them.
