I believe, you Sir, would personally find Dr. Charles Stanley’s In-Touch Ministry Sermons interesting. Not that he is finer than you in his walk and knowledge of God, but he truly was a man committed to the Lord and “like-minded” in a way that you would appreciate.
Ty for this wonderful & much needed advice. We are overrun by malignant narcissists everywhere. I have gone no contact whatsoever with these types as soon as they reveal themselves. Most always have an attitude of playing the devils advocate on every challenge that I have had. I’ve even said to them you always play devils advocate and I don’t appreciate it at all. I simply go ghost to these types. I will not tolerate them at all in my life. Ty Lord for giving me the gift to oppose these people in an upfront manner. So sick of these types. Beware, they come to us in sheep's clothing, but inwardly, their ravenous wolves! Even your so called christian speakers, that speak very well; But are they outside like Jesus and his disciples? I found the video deeply convicting, especially the part about how relationships can shape or hinder my faith. It’s true that setting boundaries is necessary, but I wonder: How can I avoid toxic relationships without feeling like I’m failing to love others as God commands?
Even family relationships can, will, Satan uses to hinder our growth; we all need to talk to each other, and stop letting a man control our conversations, our thoughts: Almighty and Alpowerful God said, How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.
