Elijah Wood has the most eclectic and musically interesting picks of any other episode I've seen, the man is obviously musically inclined , at the very least in the sense that he understands that good music transcends specific styles and genres. 1:35 - I'd get that just for the cover alone, but it seems it's not available on iTunes, let alone in my area's only remaining record shop.

I've only collected records for the last year and a half or so but it really changes how I listen to music. If somebody asked me about a band that I've only listened to online, the best answer I could give them is that I like them or I don't. When I put a record on, that's when I am really listening and it is committed to memory. Oftentimes, digital music just falls to the background for me with the rare exception when I repeat a song for like 5 hours (happens more often than I'd like to admit!). Of cause at the end of the party, our Uruk Hai will take him over his shoulder and simply walk out of the club.
Elijah Wood made me a big fan of the band Death. Not the metal band but the band of brothers from Detroit. If you haven't heard them, do it. I had insomnia one night & saw the documentary on the band. That morning at work I ordered my vinyl copy. It has a home on my turntable. Take care and stay safe everyone 😷
There really is nothing better than listen to a record besides seeing the artists you like perform live. You can really appreciate the music way more when playing the record and like Elijah said, you pay more attention which in turn can make the music come alive even more. You might even notice new stuff that you didn't before.
