  • Isuzu NRR NU Regular cab, GVWR19500, 5.2L 215HP Turbocharged Intercooled Diesel engine, 6-Sp automatic transmission, spring suspension, hydraulic brakes, steel wheels, 225/70R19.5 tires, 3-passenger grey cloth interior, AM/FM/CD radio, A/C, power windows and locks, tilt and telescopic, 30 Gal in-frame fuel tank.
13 Cubic Yard Side-Loading Compactor Body MSL-13 --- BODY CONSTRUCTION: Roof: 12 gauge steel Sides: 12 gauge steel Floor: Flat, 3/16-inch steel plate. Understructure: 3/16-inch formed channel, 2 longitudinals, 10wide at the floor, 4 wide at truck frame. Bracing: Body will have adequate bracing at all points to withstand repeated application of maximum packing pressure without distortion of members. All body side sheets and bracing will be continuously-welded for maximum strength. Packing Aids: Body will have three (3) pairs of retainer teeth mounted to the roof, just behind the loading doors. --- BODY DIMENSION Body Length: (Approx) 182 OverallWidth: 78 Height above Frame: 72 Side Doors (Width x Height): 36 x 44 Top Doors (Width x Height): 36 x 32 Body Weight (Approx) 4,665 lbs. --- PACKER PANEL Packer panel will be the full interior width and height of body. The packer panel will transit the full length of body, clearing the total area of all refuse. The packer panel will ride on eight (8) nylatron pads set on 4 x 3 tube rails, preventing side sway of panel when loading from one side. --- TAILGATE CONSTRUCTION The hydraulically-operated tailgate will be constructed of 10-gauge rolled steel, w/3 x 3 steel tubing frame. Tailgate will be raised by two (2) 2-1/2 double-acting cylinders, one on each side of body. Tailgate will be held in position by two steel clamp assemblies and held in place under hydraulic pressure. --- EJECTION SYSTEM The packing panel will act as the ejector panel, and will be powered by one seven-inch I. D., double-acting, five-stage telescopic cylinder. The packer/ejector panel will traverse the full length of the body offering complete, clean ejection of payload across the flat floor. The packer/ejector panel will be capable of being retracted or extended from any position between full extension and full retraction. --- HYDRAULIC SYSTEM A complete hydraulic system will be provided, consisting of the following components and functions: a. One seven-inch I. D., double-acting, five-stage telescopic cylinder: packing & load ejection. b. Two 2-1/2 I. D., double-acting tailgate cylinders: lifting, lowering, and locking of tailgate. c. Dead-man controls: one valve controls all functions with separate spools. All functions cease automatically when operator releases hand-control. d. Pump to achieve 20-22 GPM @ 1475 RPM hydraulic: flow to system. e. Engine Throttle-Up: accelerate the speed for packing only. f. Direct transmission mounted PTO with cab activated rocker switch. g. Filter assembly complete: filters oil at high volume Full- Flow, 10 micron, with by-pass and a replaceable cartridge. h. Hydraulic reservoir (38-gallon capacity): to guarantee an appropriate flow to the pump and insure cool operation of the system. i. A sight-gauge and thermometer will be mounted on the side of the hydraulic oil reservoir. j. Relief valve: precision-built and factory-preset for maximum protection of complete hydraulic system. k. Hydraulic hoses, of wire-braid construction, designed to withstand four-times working system pressure. --- CONTROLS There will be dual controls for the dead-man packing and ejector mechanism one on each side of the body adjacent to the loading doors. A throttle advance, for the PACKING CYCLE ONLY, is to be computer set on the chassis. --- HOPPER DOORS There will be one (1) pair of Dutch doors on each side of the packer body, and also two (2) hopper doors on the roof, to facilitate the handling of extra large materials. Each of the six (6) doors will have the capability of being operated independently. (Page 2 of 3) Each door will have a locking device in both the opened and in the closed position. Sliding doors are not acceptable, because of potential track-jamming and problems of alignment. --- BACK-UP ALARM A back-up alarm is installed that automatically sounds when the motor is running and the driver engages the reverse gear. --- LIGHTING Body lighting will comply with all existing applicable regulations. --- PAINTING Body will be thoroughly cleaned and will be in keeping with good, accepted industry practices. A high quality primer will be applied, followed by two finish coats of urethane enamel. --- LOADING STEPS Fold-down, self-cleaning loading step on each side below the hopper. ----
