Mam i want to know how many seats are there in hostel for msc chemsitry subject for general category....in merit list 5 girls hav higher rank den me....and m not sure if i will get hostel or not...please reply....

Hello Aditi,
Yes you are right. The seats for hostels are very limited. You should find some accomodation for yourself initially.
And it would also depend on whether the girls above you have applied for hostels or not.

But if you are in 6th position with general category, and all of the others have applied for the hostels then it's quite difficult to get one at least in 2 or 3 lists. But even then apply for the hostel and live somewhere else till the time you get a hostel.
