You should be advocating for self driven ethics and should by now have shied away from this afrocolonialist idea. Maybe unafaa utembee kiasi uone dunia. I completely agree with Jalas in this matter. Common sense is not taught in any school. May be Mwakideu does not know the real meaning of the word 'common sense'
this is a good discussion, though my take is Kenyans must pull up and follow law rather than being followed each and every time. Mwakideu we are in the 21st century not 20th century where we have to be reminded of our responsibilities. i believe Jalas is right.

Presenters should learn to understand that Jalango is not the same man who was in Kiss 100. Many things have changed from then, he is economically and academically empowered 100x. How to deal with him requires mature logic, he is no longer just a comedian. Jeff insulted him once when he discovered that Jalango is out shinning him and dd not take it kindly with Jeff and today Alex wants to play a big man here. Switching off his mic whether it was drama or not I don't take it kind either. Let me not read too much for it can be a trick on one wanting to resign BUT try to understand that Jalas is no-longer someone you can toy with.
I don't think Alex means any of what he said. sometimes I guess to make the conversation interesting both presenters need different points of view in order to spark a response from the audience. because the truth is, there are those who are of a similar school of thouyght as Alex, and jalas is helping straighten people's way of thinking
The two know what they are doing. This is attracting audience and their message will definitely reach the intended audience, whether mmoja ataonekana hafikirii vizuri, but for the sake of publicity. Clever people
Jalas is very right? Alex listen to him . he's explanation is making sense. To make a country's progress begins with it's citizens. Jalas anasema Ukweli humuelewi coz humuskizi anazungumza ukweli alex acha kupotosha wale wakenya wengine. Sheria inaanza na mwananchi si polisi
you ill not know the real story if you are never keen on the road .the police will demand bribes from drivers who are complying and those who aren't thus forcing those who are complying to join the non complying coleagues in the non compliance issue . i totally disagree the problem is not with Kenyans its with the law enforcing agency.
Jalas yuko right kama kazi za ZURi Nairobi gari likijaa hivyo hakuna kuongeza hadi makanga ana kiti chake Alex please msikize jalas sio lazima kufatwa kama kondoo

Alex raised a very valid question where have the police been and why should we suffer twice becausse of the incompetence of the police. Jalas has a car now no wonder his reasoning is he doesn't care.......
Kenya will not grow if all people think like Alex. how did this guy pass his interview to be a radio presenter? "haufai kuwa kwenye national radio." Says Prof. Eng. Dr. E.G.H, E.B.S Jalas Mwenyewe.
I admire the new Jalango. You are right we need a change of Mind-Set from all Kenyans. Once beaten twice shy, I thought by now we should have learnt that. Kenyans never learn
Jalas I stand with you. Hii mentality ya 1800bc hatutaki. Let us walk for even a year for as long as we kill that mentality of impunity for our daily bread
Very true let learn to follow the law but sio ukifiywa unasema hukupewa time.let do it kenya for safety of our brothers, sisters and any other relatives.
Both are Right... but jalas has to realise that it aint possible to get 100% good and law abiding citizens. It is not proper to introduce rules and abandon them at some point only to re-introduce them many years later. I am with Aleckie on this.
Its true that the corruption from the law enforcers do take us many miles back from where we come from.watanyoosha kwa sasa kwa sababu Matiangi is on their toes, akishaondoka turundi palepale, makosa sio ya wananchi kabisa.
Guys I lyk u come kwenye nko ata ukiruka traffic lights police never follows u during inspection wanafungua system if u have violated the rules u r charged if it's more than thrice driving licence yachukuliwa no apologies pia kenya that can be done which is easy
the funny thing is that both of you guys are right ,the citizens ,the law and the transport commission have a role to play , we have to follow the law as far as transport is concerned ,it all lead to a corrupt system of every stakeholders ,and if we do not change the circle is vicious ...death-reforms -corrupt system -death and the cycle continues ,,,,,,,lets follow the law
Big up Alex Mwakideu, You are absolutely right saying Kenyans can not suffer twice. Jalong'o Africans mentality is there and will be there so the government has to adhere and get used to it
That's how studio is, it becomes boring if they all agree. One should oppose and the other propose for the show I know in the heart Alex is agreeing with Jalas but on air they need to represent everyone. That's how it should be. Hawa wako kazini, wako tu sawa.
I agree 100% with Alex, the problem is lack of law enforcement. I think Jalas has been driving his luxury cars for a long time he has lost touch with the situation on the ground. The matatu industry is half controlled by thugs and mungiki and an A Citizen will not risk an argument with those guys. You stop the matutu by the roadside it will stop wether it’s full or not and once you are in you can’t get out for free. You’ll either have to pay for the trip and exit because you are obeying the law and pay for another matatu which you’ll have no guarantee it has an open seat. The reason the carnage is non existent in other countries is because effective law enforcement. On the other hand Alex was very disrespectful to Jalas and proud of him for not allowing anyone to bully him
They are both right. The law enforcers should be on top of the game and as well the citizens should be in the forefront to fight for the implementation. United we are strong. Wananchi wawe backup ya polisi
Eti Waafrika lazima tufuatwe. Jalas is so right, hiyo mentality will be our downfall if it already isn't. Strict adherence to the law is what governs an informed and well functioning society.

Jalas is right, he has explanation listen to him Mwakideu .give him time ,and change that mentality of we are Africans we must be followed inorder to do something.
I'm with Alex on this one! Law enforcement let us down. Same guys who are trying to appear hardworking right now, are the same one who've been letting Ma3s eagerly get away with impunity. Heck, policemen and politicians even own Ma3s, making them untouchable. We are stuck with this foolish "crackdown-for-show" mentality cause the people in charge refuse to consistently do their work
Congratulations to those insulting Mwakideo and praising Jalas. it's a proof that point imefika nyumbani. I mean the basis of the argument as they take sides was just to get your attention, vile tu nyi huchezewa akili by Maina Kageni and King'ang'i then mnaingia box that they are arguing.

Jalas talks and I go like, "Oh captain, my captain!" It's high time we stopped pointing fingers and assigning blame. If all public vehicle users held a strike against these unworthy matatus we wouldn't be at this again. Passengers are the first to tell you "Songea" or ask for sambaza. And slave mentality is not only affecting our service industries, it is a major player in our politics too. My 2 cents.
I was thinking of the same...Jalas you are 1000% right
Jalas is talking this out of experience and that's why Alex cannot understand him
Jalas carries the day ladies see how men urgue and laugh sio kununiana
