I don't want to spoil anyone here, but if you haven't read the manga then this is a spoiler alert. Ehem. The tea cup has the Tea Tea Fruit, like how weapons can have zoan type fruits. This cup of tea has the Tea Tea Fruit and it can make as much tea as it wants for Brook. This forshadows later on with Fujitora the purple admiral with his gravity sword. PS: Don't take what I said serious... haha...
Usopp is the voice of reason and logic? The world I grew up in no longer exists... Then again, that was good advice from Brook... but like all advice, it must be used moderately.
He's pretty much always been when it comes to dangerous or serious matters. It's when it concerns chores and duties Nami wants them to perform that Usopp (and usually Luffy and Chopper) just start goofing off instead.
Brook is like the old grandpa who tells his grandkid to go put a whoopie cushion under grandmas chair, Usopp is the older brother who is rushing around trying to get everyone together, and Sanji is the dad trying to keep his kid calm while everything is falling apart lol.

He has a great personality, hilarious and EXTEREMLY energetic for an 60/90 year old(yomi-yomi no mi gives new life and technically he may be physically 60 years old).
Part of what I love about one piece is how all the crew connect with each other in different ways. Chopper is the baby so he trusts Brook to have maturity but Brook is a little loopy cause of his trauma lol.
That's why I love Brook, he's someone that is truly calm, wise, and capable...But he enjoys being a goofball when he can, since he knows his friends are capable as well. He only turns up when he is truly needed to, like in Whole Cake Arc.
That's why Brook is my favorite Straw Hat, he acts like a mentor to the younger members, but also as a bad influence when he asks for Panties.. I wonder how he will look like in the future, even tho.. he doesn't have any eyes! Yohohoho!
Another small thing is when the Flying Fish people and Usopp were flying over trying to find Brook and Chopper, Usopp was the one that spotted them first. Of course, he would, he's the lookout/sniper.
