- Speedpaint of a commission for mirrorly on Deviantart!
The white verdeer belongs to mirrorly and the black verdeer belongs to alerye.
There's a bit of a jump at around the 6 minute mark where I lost about 90 minutes of footage of me rendering the flowers and changing up the colours. I basically used the Hue & Saturation tool to slide the cyans into a more deep blue tone and then pumped up the magenta in the flowers to create a richer colour palette!

Tools Used
I use Adobe Photoshop CC for painting and editing my illustrations. Many of my older speedpaints were done in a free digital program called Medibang Paint (which I highly recommend for beginner artists!). I switched to using Photoshop as my main art program in late 2018 to further improve my work. My tablet is the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 13, which I purchased in 2016. I record my screen using OBS and edit all my videos in Adobe Premiere Pro.

FAQ
How long did this take?
It varies! If it's a five minute long video, then between 3 to 4 hours. If its between 7-10 minutes, it was probably a bigger piece which can take anywhere between 10-15 hours.
Where did you get your brushes?
Most of the brushes you see me use are with from the Kyle Brush packs (mainly the 'Real Oils' from the Megapack, available to all Photoshop CC users) or from Andreas Rocha's brush pack (given out as a Patreon reward).
What canvas size do you draw on?
My canvas size is usually around 3000px on the short side and upwards of 5000px on the long side. With a resolution of around 300 - 350 dpi.
How do I commission you?

i lost a bit of footage for this one, so there's a good 90 minute chunk that's missing in the process ^^;; sometimes i debate whether to upload the speedpaint at all when i lose parts of the painting process but i figured the 8 hours of video i do have will still be useful to someone! ^u^

I will forever aspire to be on your caliber of rendering and digital art, you inspire me so much with how you manage to compose your work, and the backgrounds, and I still have a lost to learn when it comes to using the textures of the brushes, and not over doing the blending, but I will always have your style to remind me just how pretty texture can make a piece. i hold down R to rotate the canvas! as for the circle colour picker, i think there's the option for it if you click on the stripy line button on the top right hand side of the colour picker dialog box ^u^

I have one question. I know, that u dont work on medibang paint pro anymore, but I need to ask. How to use tone curve on medibang? Cause I cant find informations about it ;_;
the tone curve on medibang was interesting the last time i used it, which would've probably been almost a year ago. it similar to how the curves filter operates in photoshop, but i just remember it being very glitchy and confusing to use! i don't know, maybe the developers have fixed it up now. if you can't find any specific info about the tone curve relating to medibang, look up how to use 'curves' in photoshop. the general premise of both tools across the two programs is basically the same!
