That's amazing, we wished we could have stayed that long!
We hope you have beach days planned.

I will be going to Trinidad to connect with some family members(I'm half Trini). Haven't been since I was a little boy to visit family. How did you feel safety wise? I'm sure everything is fine and I'm not concerned at all, I'm just curious about your perspective seeing that you guys are from the states. Thanks in advance!

Hey, we hope you have a lovely time when you visit. A few things to keep in mind, my mom planned this trip, so honestly we didn’t have to worry about much. She planned for us to have a driver and they stayed with us the entire time going places. In the location we stay, we felt fine because the place had a locked gate and locked doors for our apartment.
As far as my husband’s perspective, he felt safe as well. Everyone seemed friendly. They greeted us on the street, in the store, typical for the islands.
We also didn’t take anything with us that was flashy, well our phones and camera, but that’s it.
We definitely gave the vibe, we’re not locals. 😝
      I hope this helps.
