Weird I thought I had a notification in my feed about a video you posted of the French nursery and it seems to have vanished ???
Your tamarillo plant blows me away, I'm fascinated to see when the fruit will ripen outside and what effect the cold might have on the plants and fruit 🤔

I posted the wrong video. Got a few to upload over the next few days but the TH-cam app on my phone won't allow me to select videos from my photo album ... I'll figure it out.
I know you have a few Tams already but 'm giving away free rooted cuttings taken from horizontal branches. Some of the cuttings were producing flowers buds as they were growing roots.
If my suspicions are correct they may flower a lot sooner than regular seedlings. If you're interested, just let me know.

I agree, it'll be interesting to see how the colder months of October to December effect the fruit. I have absolutely no idea if they'll be edible.
The fruits are still rock hard, but are beginning to lose the green, developing more of a yellowish hue. The plant only stopped flowering completely 2 or 3 weeks ago, I expect that'll be a cue for it to transfer energy into fruit ripening.

@@MoebiusUK getting ripe fruit outside here would be an amazing achievement, even in Australia they seem to ripen in Winter so the process here would be challenging. I added the free kinemaster to my phone and process them through that as it allows me to add a few words and maybe compacts the videos a bit so I can upload them faster on the phone but I seem to be able to select them straight from the photo album on my phone. It's an oldish i phone that my tech savvy son handed down to me 🤪🤪.
Mine have grown substantially again this year but despite all coming from different seeds, none have ever produced even a single flower bud lol. This year I have no intention of pruning them whatsoever but I can't see how I'm going to get them into my summerhouse 😂😂

@@lyonheart84 I've seen that 'kinemaster' logo on some TH-cam videos but didn't know it was an app with the functons you describe, I appreciate the tips.
