    This is so bullshit, if you don’t have the budget. Buy m2 air. I edit 4k videos and make music. And it’s so fkn smooth so please don’t listen to this guy, he change his mind like 10 times a day, I’m gonna make it easy for u. If you want the fastest and the best laptop that you only have at home. Go for the pro 14” or 16”
    But if you just started learning editing or doing music and you want it to be easy to take with you the m2 is the one to go with

    I love how you start with talking about the size. This made me realize I don't actually move around with my computer and the 24 iMac actually makes the most sense for me. Having the large screen is just perfect for productivity.

      just don't buy one until they roll out the M3 or you will be sorry. That was my original choice but I refuse to buy another computer that is about to become obsolete and apple hasn't rolled it out yet and I can't wait any longer so MacBook Air is is and I'm loving it!

    I don't know why you say 8gb aren't enough for average usage. I use my 8GB M1 mackbook air for programming tasks and for video editing with Final Cut Pro. Unless I open 200 tabs on Firefox my Mac is able to run smoothly. I laugh at people who say 8G on a M1 Mac aren't enough for browsing.

      He says a lot of fishy things such as advertises the cleanmymac and speaks down on getting a refurb mac. Sure you don't get warranty but you also save 400-800 dollars in purchase price, which is a pretty good deal in my book. And if you buy from a reputable source, risks are low.

    If you are going to use your macbook for intense application like design or programing etc you want the big guns "pro" . But if you do research, spreadsheets, financial management, do contracts, watch youtube videos etc. plus the small stuff the Macbook Air 2023 has a lot more to offer than it used to with a 15 inch screen 1080 LED which is what I am on now and came from a 21 inch IMac and I'm in love with this thing. It has the latest M2 chip and like the advise given here I made sure to upgrade my Ram to 16 gb (double the standard equip) and 1 TB hard drive (2 x 512 GB standard equip) 200.00 ea more so 1400.00 became 1800.00 but as this man said, you won't be able to upgrade them anymore so what you buy is what you are stuck with. if you don't you will not get as much life out of your mac because the upgrades with eventually require more and more to run. I made that mistake once and it cost me buying one on sale (2 yr old model) and min specs. And this one has spatical sound streaming quality. I do think the speakers could be better but that's not my main thing anyway so that's fine for me. Because I was double checking something I said here I inadvertently discovered Apple just dropped their price today 100.00 and I have 14 days from delivery to request a credit for the price reduction that happened right after I bought mine. I just made a 100.00 for this post!!!!

    I wanted the magnetic power cord which the 13" pro did not have. The air models all lack fans and it gets got here so those weren't an option. I likely only need a Chromebook but I like OSX and have never used anything else except for work since we use some specific software that will only run on windows. Long story short the cheapest option for me was the $2000 14" pro. And I love it so far its actually smaller in size than the 2013 13" pro

Should I get HP laptop i7 16GB RAM 1TB ($1500), Macbook Air M2 chip 16GB RAM 512GB ($1879), Macbook Air M3 chip 16GB RAM 512GB ($2049) or Macbook Air M3 Pro chip 16GB RAM 512GB ($2249)? I also heard that for Macbook users who want to use android OS, they can do so by either using UTM for free or buy parallel from Microsoft. Is that true?

    CleanMyMac X is a great program, but it would be great if they offer an option to charge a little more to allow 3 or 5 installations, so if you have 3 or 5 Apple computers, you do not have to deactivate the license on the active computer and transfer the activation to another Mac you have it installed and run the cleanup on that one. Adobe allows 2 active activations so you can use their Creative Cloud on 2 computers, whether Mac or Windows version. Microsoft allows 5 active activations on their Windows and Microsoft Office products.

    I am a 1st Year B. Tech CSE student in India. So, I am going to get my first Macbook. I have been a Windows user lately but I am planning to get a Macbook. But I am confused between M1 AIR, M2 AIR and M2 Pro. And which storage will you recommend me 256GB or 512GB? And see I am planning to use it for a long run for a minimum of 4 years. So, looking from productivity perspective which one would you recommend? I would be using it for Coding, Programming, DSA, Machine Learning, etc. Please recommend me the best option. And I checked the M1 Pro 512GB. Apple doesn't sells it anymore in Inida. They have removed it from Apple India website. And the M2 Pro is quite out of my budget. I have a budget of around 1-1.5 lakhs INR.
    So, kindly help me and tell me which one should I get.

      I bought the M1 pro 512mb 16 inch, and its the best purchase i ever did. It's so fast and Im using it a lot for video editing and it works like a charm. Its just too fast, and it doesnt even heat up. I bought it used in Ecuador. Thankfully it had just 25 battery cycles and it was in almost perfect condition. I think I shouldve paid less but I paid $1600 for the computer with a 30W charger. So its not so bad but not good either, it's fair I think. But for use, I love it. Super Fast, good screen, doesnt heat up, and perfect for my needs. Hopefully you can find one in India

Instead I bought a Surface Laptop 4 for only $900 since I work at Microsoft retailer, it has 11th gen i7, 16G RAM, 512GB SSD. It’s not as powerful as Apple Silicon but it’s powerful enough for my tasks. The only defect is the lacking of thunderbolts, but USB 3.2 is fine I think.

    A spokesman for 🍎. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Just thinking about all the variations of what I should get and not get; I just stayed with what was my best purchase for the value in 2022 - The MacBook Pro M1 16”; he’s a big boy but he’s versatile and everything I want to do with it is doable. And for $1400 on eBay was a risk worth taking because it’s still being listed at 2K on the 🍎 site. My externals all plug in and everything works, including plugging him into a OLED LG 48” for an external monitor. Yeah, I’m happy. I’m a photographer by the way and it’s the best for editing hands down. I bought a high impact case for mine and I’ve never taken it into a coffee shop but just imagine if I did. 😂 Now for portability, I plan on getting a new iPad Pro Max but in 2023 when the price goes down.

    • @quaraportra9617
      @quaraportra9617 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Got mine a few days ago, and honestly, it's a lovely experience! What tons of reviews out there don't get, is that most of us don't use a laptop to run Narnia or even edit 4k video 24/7. Most just write stuff on it, might play GTA and edit photos every once in a while. For that you have more than enough to work with, if you get the base model, and maybe upgrade it in the future.
      Lot of reviews out there, speak like everyone just has 3k laying out to buy a computer. And what should be universal, is that if you have 3k to spend on a laptop or computer for serious workloads, you build a custom PC and you're done. The stock base version is more than enough :)

    There’s hardly any room for error in buying MacBooks in Apple ecosystem. The only mistake I see is when you buy a MacBook thinking it’s a Windows laptop.

    • @kerrydaniels8460
      @kerrydaniels8460 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I mean the mistake could be spending more than you will ever need or use and no room to upgrade for lower selections so your statement is dead wrong.
      As for OS, it's all subjective. People prefer different things and there are things macs simply can't do well. So no, an objective person will look at things objectively and realize there can be consequences with Mac instead if fanboying. I use all 4 major OS's for different purposes. Mac isn't perfect just like any other OS isn't. Stop the fanboyism lol
