- The drama depicts the love story of Bai Feng Jiu and Dong Hua Di Jun, that spans 2000 years. Feng Jiu, the queen of Qing Qiu, is the only red nine-tailed fox in Qing Qiu and thus being pampered by everyone. She loves to cry and to throw tantrums but is also persistent and brave. One day, when Feng Jiu is in the mountains for cultivation, a beast attacks her. Luckily, the former Emperor of Heaven Dong Hua passes by at this moment and saves her. To pay the debt of gratitude, Feng Jiu follows Dong Hua who goes to fight the rebelling Demon Lord. Feng Jiu soon realizes that gratitude has turned into love, however, Dong Hua already forgot what love is. In order to keep her safe, Dong Hua sends Feng Jiu to the mortal realm, but the guardian he sends together with her unexpectedly dies. While trying to find the immortal fruit that can let her be reborn, Feng Jiu enters the temple of the ghost princess.

I didn't like Eternal Love oe maybe I am confused with Ten Thousand Miles of Peach Blossoms where it just get sadistic and torturous: better to stay single. My favourite xianxia dramas are: Ashes of Love, An Oriental Odyssey, The Legend of White Snake, The Starry Love and The Legend of Chusen (not ranked). Love story is OK buy adventure and comedy are a must. 😍😁👌

The choreography of spiritual warfare fights is superb!!! That is what brought me to this drama series. Vengo certainly has the power moves looking great.
Dijun looks so handsome and cool when he's in battle mode ^_^
mzsindee How majestic was that walk when he realized he was tricked. He gets back to the palace imperiously, knocks down his guards down for letting the wrong man in, his anger at yang stupidity.
Is it just me or does anyone notice that it seems like dijun can read Feng jiu's mind n even knows she is the one?
Anyways I must say pairing dilreba and vengo gao to act tmopb is the best thing that could ever happen, I mean they fit their characters exactly.
I must say that vengo's acting has improved a lot, I mean the aura of dominance he has and expresses is interesting to watch and also the way he behaves is like his totally one with his character.
Dilreba, i mean talk about cuties, the way she expresses the gestures of the fox is amazing.
And although I know I will come to hate that demon princess, still her expressions are on point.
Love this drama, it proves worth the wait.

Amazing how Feng knows how to fight and smoke as if he were even a dragon. While Dong Hua is marveling amazed.
She was lent that ability temporarily from the Lord who took her fur earlier, only for a short while, when she was asked to cook the sweet potatoes later she already lost the ability to do so. She murmured that she was tricked.
Yan Chi Wu only wanted a fair fight and he doesn't even know what kind of trouble he got Dijun into.
No one is commenting on how comical Dong hua behaviour is when he is Demon Yan. Fake DH walks with his arms swaying, slips down the steps, he even has a chat with the guards while waving them off. Shows how distinguished Dong hua style is he walks stiff and slowly every step with purpose, he would never slip he is just too graceful, and he definitely never chats with guards he only does a single careless wave doesn’t even notice them.
DH might be more powerful but Yan always ends up getting him in trouble, Later they get stuck in Fanyin valley. Hahaaaaa yan is a trouble maker, they start with a love hate relationship. In the end they become friends and respect each other. Yan gets heartbroken realizing DH could die puts his life on the line to save him and Feng.

In the original book the guard was a girl disguised as a boy, and she was secretly in love with the brother of Jiheng. But of cause Jiheng didn't know about it and ran away with "him". After she found out she was tricked she was very sad and started to be in love with Donghua the majesty.

So Minsu is a girl but, the actor who plays Xu Yang (Jin Zehao) explained that Minsu actually loved Xu Yang but could never show it because she had to pretend to be a boy for survival cause she's an orphan. Xu Yang knew she was a girl because he's that one that gave her a chance to be Jiheng's guard, but he didn't really see her as anything else than that, and that's why he's always upset that Jiheng was so close to Minsu. They show this before Minsu dies but ppl failed to understand it cause it was kinda quick. But Zehao broke it down when someone asked him about it lol.

Please understand that this is a different love story line. Please don't be influenced by tmpb. It's a love story between Baiqian and Ye hua. The story lines of feng jiu and dijun are only briefly mentioned and have not been unfolded. It is normal that what you are seeing is different from tmpb.

Without a doubt Dilraba is one of my favorite Chinese actress. This drama is very similar or continuous of "Eternal Love 10 Miles Peach" but not so exciting. If you guys like strong women power leads you must watch the Long Ballad with Dilraba. 👌🥰🥰
each drama of their role-play is difference. 10 miles peach and pillow book emphasis of Morality and Integrity. Their Love, caring and compassionate is what we can learn from.
The Long Ballard is about Dao practice. Remove "I", which mean personal desire, hates, and benefit but for the greatest of all. Love and compassionate toward others, especially Life's. I Love Dilraba professionalism. She handle each characters well.
All 3 drama has something that we can learn from. Watch beyond, not just an entertain.
Praxi.. agreed....I’m not a fan of Dilraba acting like a toddler… But in the long ballad, she was seriously bad ass! That is one of my favorite series! Plus the guy she ends up liking is soooo dang cute!
