Recently a very dear student of mine 20 years old decided to end his life... 💔
Our handpan classes were filled with beautiful jams, music, and fun practices but also full of deep and meaningful talks about life. Some of them question: What's our purpose in life? What are we doing here? Who to relate and count with? And maybe the most meaningful was where to find those who belong to your tribe to support the being you are.
I always felt the huge pain inside of his heart and the struggle to be alive. He never found it, and sadly, he decided to end the pain of it by going to other dimensions.
These melodies honor his beautiful being and the struggle of being alive in this world. Soon this will be a full composition dedicated to him.
I am grateful for everything we lived together.
