I watched this episode of the anime yesterday, and seriously, I thought Armin would scream "I AM THE CRIMSON KING!" every time he appeared on screen... which was all the episode
Well his motivational speeches are pretty goddamn bad in the actual anime too though. The whole "you need to be willing to throw away your humanity" shtick, you know? Not bad as in not effective but bad as in they feel morally questionable at times.
@@gogodaal7273 It's not even Bert's influence. The colossal titan has always seemed to have an attraction to the female titan. Which is why Bert never really felt anything for Annie until after getting the titan, and Armin is falling under the same curse. And given how the colossal is also the opposite of the Attack titan as it has no will while the Attack is searching for freedom, it just adds up on how Bert was a nice dude who never wanted to hurt anyone, and Armin who is the same in that regard as well.
Hey everyone. It's been months, and almost no word from me. Please accept my supreme apologies for that. Long story short, I've been dealing with a very serious health issue the past 8 months. It's been bad enough that I've been completely away from the channel. There's been a lot of ups and downs, it's been scary at points, and I'm not completely out of the woods yet. It's been a very personal struggle for me, one I'm still not sure how to discuss it with an audience of 88K+ (HOLY CRAP about that by the way, you all are amazing!) For now, know that I have not and will never give up on making Slap. I am seeing it through to Episode 25 and beyond! There is a LOT of content for Episode 18 that I cannot wait to share with you. It would be incredibly foolish of me to assign a release date when I've been so inconsistent. After all, I've barely been able to edit and I've still got some work left. I'm focusing on getting better, and once I'm 100% in the clear, my goal is to do All Slap, All Day. When the episode is finally out, I will do everything I can to let the Internet know, blasting it out everywhere...Slap facebook, Slap twitter, Slap instagram...hell, maybe even myspace... But I gotta give you at least something to anticipate and look forward to! So know that Sarge will be making an appearance in Episode 18, and it's fucking glorious. Which is why Bert never really felt anything for Annie until after getting the titan, and Armin is falling under the same curse. And given how the colossal is also the opposite of the Attack titan as it has no will while the Attack is searching for freedom, it just adds up on how Bert was a nice dude who never wanted to hurt anyone, and Armin who is the same in that regard as well.

Long story short, I've been dealing with a very serious health issue the past 8 months. It's been bad enough that I've been completely away from the channel. There's been a lot of ups and downs, it's been scary at points, and I'm not completely out of the woods yet. It's been a very personal struggle for me, one I'm still not sure how to discuss it with an audience of 88K+ (HOLY CRAP about that by the way, you all are amazing!)
For now, know that I have not and will never give up on making Slap. I am seeing it through to Episode 25 and beyond!
There is a LOT of content for Episode 18 that I cannot wait to share with you. It would be incredibly foolish of me to assign a release date when I've been so inconsistent. After all, I've barely been able to edit and I've still got some work left. I'm focusing on getting better, and once I'm 100% in the clear, my goal is to do All Slap, All Day. When the episode is finally out, I will do everything I can to let the Internet know, blasting it out everywhere...Slap facebook, Slap twitter, Slap instagram...hell, maybe even myspace...
But I gotta give you at least something to anticipate and look forward to! So know that Sarge will be making an appearance in Episode 18, and it's fucking glorious.
