Celebrating the best of Cook Islands design at Atuanga Rakei

The best Cook Islands designers gathered in South Auckland to take part in the 2nd Atuanga Rakei event. The competition celebrates the best of Kuki cultural design and brings together women from all Kuki communities to compete on stage.

Cook island culture are so admired and amazing design wear. It’s a great platform to have and show case the islanders most talented designers, dancers and for the community itself for the call cook islanders around the world. So proud along side with our Tahitian sisters and brothers. Wonderful art work and should be celebrated. 😘🌈🏝️🥰😘
