- Let's take a first in the aquarium look at my recent shipment from Cunningham Tropicals and get into the keeping of this new fish, Discus, and a lot more, all LIVE!
The first 24 hours after receiving new fish is crucial. Let's see how the new fish (Discus and the other fish I received) are doing and talk about all of it in today's Cichlids & Coffee Live Stream. Let's roll!
Thank you for watching! Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions or comment on anything fish related! I'll get to as many of your comments as I can. Never forget my mottos: We all learn from each other! and Always be learning! Thanks!
A very big shout-out to Josh at Cunningham Tropicals for the exceptional fish. See a discount code below that he's made available to viewers.
Also, a big shout-out to the best live stream moderators on TH-cam: Salient Aquatics, Denny, GP, Kevin, Jerry, Zen Ginger, Jon Wallace and Vibes Aquatics!
And a special THANK YOU to my subscribers and Patreon "Garage Gang" monthly supporters!
Another BIG shout-out to Cunningham Tropicals and The Aquarium Co-Op for their on-going support. See links and discount codes below.
Fish keeping is a fluid situation! Everyone has unique circumstances. Be sure to get input from various sources before making any major changes in your tank. Recommendations picked up from places like TH-cam might not work with your unique water, fish and tank conditions. What I express in my videos are my opinion based on my first hand experience and conclusions. Don't assume it will work 100% for you and your set up. Always be learning!

The discus look absolutely beautiful thank you for all you do for the fishy hobby. God bless you, Mr. Ben.
Discus tank looking great Ben. Just watching the replay as I had to jump out of the live as had a fish tank change at my sons place. Look forward to next weeks stream.
Hiya from 🏴 Ben .Great channel ,& top content. Just my tuppenceworth , wood from the surface ,& room less lit may help those new beauties settle in .no disrespect or negativity whatsoever.ATB ❤
I keep my discus at 78F and do 20% water changes twice a month at least. Sometimes 3x a month.
How large do you expect to grow your discus over the next year or two? Seems like they are 3-4” right now? I know plenty can eventually get up to 7-8” which is crazy.
Super excited you’re finally making discus content. I’ll definitely donate and join your memberships next discus video.
I’d love to get them large and move them over to the 90 gallon. That’s probably a year away.
Thanks for your support 😀👍🏻
I keep my discus at 86° and do a 70% water change every week. Light substrate vacuum if at all
