I was watching some in car footage a month or so back. There was a restart, and she was near the back with all the other slow cars. So, she got a good start and I was like, " Do IT!, run it in there low, put your foot down , and get ya some". Dude, she was feathering the throttle and then dropped like a rock. At that point, I could just see she just doesn't have it.
She races a lot of dirt track races and had a kart track built in her backyard. Her problem was her rookie season was COVID and she never got to practice. She also started running asphalt late compared to other drivers.

So where do I begin? I am a Hailie Deegan fan. I followed her radio during most of her Xfinity races including Logano’s run.I listened to Hailie telling the crew chiefs how the car was driving. They always made adjustments like turn the shocks 6 clicks or air pressure or some other small adjustments. Yesterday when Joey drove the road course car he almost word for word said exactly what Deegan had said. The crew chief called Joey in and made numerous large changes to the car including even a camber adjustment, track bar,wedge,removed spring rubbers, tire pressure etc. They never did that for Hailie and this is why Hailie left. They did not respect her opinion. Typical Nascar crew chiefs. Hope she finds a team that can listen

Well, the question was answered today. Logano came in 8th. And he's not really knowing for being a road racer. I also suspect he was holding back a little bit given the fact his career secure so why come in and try to embarrass a driver on their way out? What does he gain and he got the experience he needs for tomorrow and a decent finish. All that aside, Kyle Larson and SVG put on an absolute clinic today. I never watch Xfinity but I love Chicago and the first 20 laps were just unbelievable between those two and the whole race. It's good is this very sneakily make me forget how bad all the other races have been this year lol.
Joey Logano finished in the 10th position at Chicago. It looked like he had the car running good. He was somewhere around 20-22nd battled with the other drivers and finished 10th. Of course, there were wrecks, but Logano wasn't involved in them. Sorry Hailie, but send postcards from your next location...
Deegan is another case of Nascar trying to push a driver and it not working out so well! It reminds me of Danica or Matty D the hype never really matched the outcome. I’m just so tired of all the excuses like all of her fans always has something to say. It’s the team’s fault or the car or the pit crew. Well all that got destroyed with Joey finishing 8th and yes I know he has a ton more experience than Deegan I get that. But I think all they were expecting for D was top 15s and 20s maybe a lucky top 10. But she wasn’t getting that minus a couple of races. To me I think she was rushed through the NASCAR system and should have been in ARCA for at least another year. Not saying she’s a bad driver just rushed through
Hailie is not very competitive, all of the hype about her is only because she’s a cute little girl. NASCAR wants a female driver if at all possible because they are trying to show how diverse they want to be. Kyle Busch said it best when he stated that anybody that can bring the right amount of sponsorship money they will get a ride. If this young lady can do this she will be back in a car.

She has skill not talent. Skills can be learned we can all learn how to play Guitar not all of us can be Jimmy Hendricks that's the difference between skill and talent. Me and you can go to a track day and by the end of the day we can both be up to speed but if Kyle Larson was thare with us we would never be able to catch him no matter how hard we tried or much we practiced. The Wood Bros are a proud tradition of family, but their performance the past few years has not been what it once was. If they realize this, they will accept an outsider in to the fold. Deegan was being primed for Stewart Haas. With their announcement that they're closing up shop and selling off all their assets, she's lost her golden goose and the haters get what they want.
I really hope Rodney Childers does join Wood Brothers along with Josh Berry. Those two are a great duo and I think they could bring wood brothers back to playoff contention and nab a few wins.
Lagano just qualified 15th for Chicago so. This is the best qualifying they’ve had all year. So far it’s not looking like the car is the issues. This team is a 14th-17th place team so that’s where they should finish every week. My prediction is Lagano will finish 12th with AM’s best finishing spot.
Yeah it seems mid tier for sure. Joey is as elite a driver as there is so if that’s all he can get that’s all it’s got. I imagine and it’s just my guess that the other side will complain they’ve been paying big money for 14-17 equipment. I say that because you hear it a lot from pay drivers in the lower series
Hailie has the talent but not the work ethic unfortunately. She really prefers to play social media influencer and doesn't need month so until she actually is actually committed and grows up a little bit she should not be given a competitive ride. There are just way to many more talented and committed drivers out there to waste a ride on someone who doesn't take it seriously.
Hailey Deagan is and likely always will be a better Race car driver than so many of those little never win type drivers crashing her out week, after week. She wins in everything she races in except Crash Car Stack car Crashing by rich kids. Final point..."LOOK at the empty Grandstands, Nasty Car". Hailey isn't broken.
People (like me) aren't hating Hailie it's just we hate the fact that she has been given more chances. She has done jack squat in the Truck Series so you would think she wouldn't move up to Xfinity so soon, right? Wrong! She's a woman and NASCAR needs a woman in the sport so of course she moves up despite the fact her time in the Truck Series was dog poo.
If HAUS racing puts her in the other Xfinity car then they are even dumber than I was thinking because she didn't have success in trucks or this year in Xfinity.

I can't imagine a truly competitive team signing up Haile Deegan. I get it, she brings a lot social media exposure but she has been a train wreck from pretty much day one of her NASCAR career. Teams like JRM, JGR or any other top tier team don't need what she brings. Top tier drivers are vying for those spots. With that said, she is stuck choosing from as the King says "the donkey" teams. And with her record, I will be amazed if she gets another ride. Those teams can't afford the wrecked cars. I was very happy to see Josh going to the 21. And to think there is a chance Rodney could be there as well? Bring the entire 4 team with him. It's time to see the 21 in victory circle again! 100 + is coming next year
Berry should definitely stay paired up with Childers. Bullins is good but Childers is great. Why would you not want to keep that group together? I'm very confident Berry will win the 100th race for Wood Bros
As I expected, Joey Logano had a good race and finished 8th in Chicago. Made $100 betting my Deegan loving buddy that Logano would finish at least top 15 and that she just doesn't have the skills required. What can I say, I'll never refuse free money lol.
@@BolognaBurger I actually bet him $500 but he didn't bite. I guess his beliefs in "look at me I'm popular Deegan" weren't strong enough 😂😂. I knew the odds were definitely in my favor betting a top 15 for Logano. I even considered making the bet a top 10 for $500 but it was to risky and I knew Logano would be mostly cautious the entire race because of the data that was required and I didn't think he was capable of a top 10 driving conservatively. Of course Logano could have crashed or be taken out but I estimated about a 10% to 12% chance at the most.
I wanted to see her do well for the benefit of the sport but I was skeptical when she was pretty bad last year in Thorsport equipment. I was more skeptical when people last year complained that her driving style didn't suit trucks, they needed to put her in an Xfinity car (after a single one-off race with a 13th place finish). At this point I just don't think she has what it takes to be competitive in the NASCAR national touring series. I'm not saying AM Racing is in the same ballpark as GIbbs but I don't think you're going to see a spike in results if you put her in a Supra versus her Mustang; you might see a couple spots of improvement.

Racing #15 car so to me Joey Logano did a great job in that Car, maybe they should give Haillie Deegan two more weeks off plus two more hiatus for the Summer Olympics so that could be the spot they could make a decision during the two weeks hiatus, so I would say maybe for Pocono maybe they should try Ty Majeski one of the Truck Series driver & then for the Brickyard for the Xfinity Series they should go for either Harrison Burton, Ryan Preece, Chris Buscher, Josh Berry, Chase Briscoe or Justin Haley and if those 2 races gets good finish, then the problem is Hallie Deegan and not her former Crew Chief. If Hallie Deegan gets release, then I would see A.M. Racing go for Justin Haley for both Daytona & Talladega.

Joey Logano finished in the 10th position at Chicago. It looked like he had the car running good. He was somewhere around 20-22nd battled with the other drivers and finished 10th. Of course, there were wrecks, but Logano wasn't involved in them. Sorry Hailie, but send postcards from your next location...

Deegan is another case of Nascar trying to push a driver and it not working out so well! It reminds me of Danica or Matty D the hype never really matched the outcome. It's funny seeing Kenny being the one saying she is gone when he was the the one beating the drum for her and calling any man who didn't like her an a$$ 😂

I’m just so tired of all the excuses like all of her fans always has something to say. It’s the team’s fault or the car or the pit crew. Well all that got destroyed with Joey finishing 8th and yes I know he has a ton more experience than Deegan I get that. But I think all they were expecting for D was top 15s and 20s maybe a lucky top 10. But she wasn’t getting that minus a couple of races. To me I think she was rushed through the NASCAR system and should have been in ARCA for at least another year. Not saying she’s a bad driver just rushed through

Hailie is not very competitive, all of the hype about her is only because she’s a cute little girl. NASCAR wants a female driver if at all possible because they are trying to show how diverse they want to be. Kyle Busch said it best when he stated that anybody that can bring the right amount of sponsorship money they will get a ride. If this young lady can do this she will be back in a car.
No hating on her, but I’ve been involved in stock car racing for 30+ years. She doesn’t have the skills, Plenty of men in the same boat. She had her shot, didn’t work out. Move on, do something else

I've always said, just because someone wants to be something don't mean they can. A last name doesn't make you good at something just because others with the same name are very good.

Hailie Deegan has never been told no she's pretty much got her way through her career in nascar. She was rushed for arca to trucks she should have stayed in arca for atleast 2 more yrs. Don't let her overall points standing fool you the field was extremely weak and extremely small. She has talent but it wasn't developed right. She can still kickass in nascar but she needs to rebuild
She has skill not talent. Skills can be learned we can all learn how to play Guitar not all of us can be Jimmy Hendricks that's the difference between skill and talent. Me and you can go to a track day and by the end of the day we can both be up to speed but if Kyle Larson was thare with us we would never be able to catch him no matter how hard we tried or much we practiced. That's talent. Haliie has no talent she's just a pretty rich girl who wants to be a pro driver. She will never be as fast as those who have talent

The Wood Bros are a proud tradition of family, but their performance the past few years has not been what it once was. If they realize this, they will accept an outsider in to the fold. Josh will succeed either way, but why not give him the best chance and let him have the crew chief he's used to being with. But, families are not always logical.

Lagano just qualified 15th for Chicago so. This is the best qualifying they’ve had all year. So far it’s not looking like the car is the issues. This team is a 14th-17th place team so that’s where they should finish every week. My prediction is Lagano will finish 12th with AM’s best finishing spot.
Yeah it seems mid tier for sure. Joey is as elite a driver as there is so if that’s all he can get that’s all it’s got. I imagine and it’s just my guess that the other side will complain they’ve been paying big money for 14-17 equipment. I say that because you hear it a lot from pay drivers in the lower series

Hailie has the talent but not the work ethic unfortunately. She really prefers to play social media influencer and doesn't need month so until she actually is actually committed and grows up a little bit she should not be given a competitive ride. There are just way to many more talented and committed drivers out there to waste a ride on someone who doesn't take it seriously.
Hailey Deagan is and likely always will be a better Race car driver than so many of those little never win type drivers crashing her out week, after week. She wins in everything she races in except Crash Car Stack car Crashing by rich kids. Final point..."LOOK at the empty Grandstands, Nasty Car". Hailey isn't broken.

She has done jack squat in the Truck Series so you would think she wouldn't move up to Xfinity so soon, right? Wrong! She's a woman and NASCAR needs a woman in the sport so of course she moves up despite the fact her time in the Truck Series was dog poo.

If HAUS racing puts her in the other Xfinity car then they are even dumber than I was thinking because she didn't have success in trucks or this year in Xfinity.

I can't imagine a truly competitive team signing up Haile Deegan. I get it, she brings a lot social media exposure but she has been a train wreck from pretty much day one of her NASCAR career. Teams like JRM, JGR or any other top tier team don't need what she brings. Top tier drivers are vying for those spots.
With that said, she is stuck choosing from as the King says "the donkey" teams. And with her record, I will be amazed if she gets another ride. Those teams can't afford the wrecked cars.

As I expected, Joey Logano had a good race and finished 8th in Chicago. Made $100 betting my Deegan loving buddy that Logano would finish at least top 15 and that she just doesn't have the skills required. What can I say, I'll never refuse free money lol.

@@BolognaBurger I actually bet him $500 but he didn't bite. I guess his beliefs in "look at me I'm popular Deegan" weren't strong enough 😂😂. I knew the odds were definitely in my favor betting a top 15 for Logano. I even considered making the bet a top 10 for $500 but it was to risky and I knew Logano would be mostly cautious the entire race because of the data that was required and I didn't think he was capable of a top 10 driving conservatively. Of course Logano could have crashed or be taken out but I estimated about a 10% to 12% chance at the most.
I wanted to see her do well for the benefit of the sport but I was skeptical when she was pretty bad last year in Thorsport equipment. I was more skeptical when people last year complained that her driving style didn't suit trucks, they needed to put her in an Xfinity car (after a single one-off race with a 13th place finish). At this point I just don't think she has what it takes to be competitive in the NASCAR national touring series. I'm not saying AM Racing is in the same ballpark as GIbbs but I don't think you're going to see a spike in results if you put her in a Supra versus her Mustang; you might see a couple spots of improvement.

Actually Joey Logano finish 8th in the A.M. Racing #15 car so to me Joey Logano did a great job in that Car, maybe they should give Haillie Deegan two more weeks off plus two more hiatus for the Summer Olympics so that could be the spot they could make a decision during the two weeks hiatus, so I would say maybe for Pocono maybe they should try Ty Majeski one of the Truck Series driver & then for the Brickyard for the Xfinity Series they should go for either Harrison Burton, Ryan Preece, Chris Buscher, Josh Berry, Chase Briscoe or Justin Haley and if those 2 races gets good finish, then the problem is Hallie Deegan and not her former Crew Chief. If Hallie Deegan gets release, then I would see A.M. Racing go for Justin Haley for both Daytona & Talladega.
